The fashion week was fast approaching and literally everyone was freaking out

Over the last few weeks... Eleanor has been showing people out the door even those that have been with her for a long time

The only thing that gets me through every hectic and exhausting day is getting to spend time with my baby in the apartment

I walked into jack's coffee shop and Stacy was already there, with Vince and Joey

"Looks like everybody is here"

"Hiii Malty... It good to see you, thank God you finally got rid of that horrible blond hair... "

Its about time... Took too long to come off. Am never dying my hair again
I picked up my coffee and moved to their table

"What's that girl... You won't even say hello to sexy Jack "

"I already said hello to him Stacy "

"He's still looking at you.. "

"No.. He's not, can you just drop it"

"Okay... So you are officially over him.. Wow I don't think I have ever seen you so matured.... This your relationship must be really serious "

"It is.... " I answered softly

"You still haven't introduce us... I don't even know what he looks like "

"Matilda has a boyfriend "
Vince asked

"She does "

"No wonder she's been acting different, mature, classy"

"Guys pls .... That's enough talk about me"

"Yeah well today is going to be a long day "

"what is Joey doing..... Acting so busy "

"he is helping me apply for a job online "

"Why "

"You know why. .. Eleanor can kick me out at any time..... I can't be jobless. I have a child to feed "

"we all just have to find an alternative somehow "

"This is alot to deal with "

"Yeah it is, so when are you going to show eleanor your project "

"I'm still not sure I am ready... I mean it still not finished and it looks very disarray "

"You don't have time Matilda... If You don't show her today then when, she's already shortlisting her showcase for the day"

"I will do it today.... Just fix me into her schedule "

"Okay. No problem "

"All done... " Joey said and shut his laptop

"So when should i check back "
Vince asked

"Probably tomorrow "

I felt bad that my friends are scared for their jobs because of Eleanor's insecurities

I haven't been able to come up with anything tangible..
And the showcase is this weekend, and my sketches are not ready.... There are just mere patterns I scrab out when am in the cab heading home or going to work

The one I'm currently working on at home is a very defined piece.. I don't think Eleanor would like it

After a while I summoned enough courage.... And went to Eleanor's office
