A few years later, over in another territory in the research centre where the tiger hybrids live, the head alpha just got challenged. This being very important for the research, got put up on the big screen in the control room so everyone can look closely. One of the females brings the five years old Jeongguk back to his room so he wouldn't see anything. ''noona I wanna see the tigers'', he pouts as his noona sits besides him on his play mat. ''I know you do baby, but right now the tigers are being mean to each other and everyone needs to make sure nothing happens'', the woman says. ''oh ohwkay'', Jeongguk sighs and he grabs his car toys.

''the head alpha is being challenged by another alpha, notes say they always were defensive towards each other'', one of the scientists notes. Even though fights brake out a lot, it doesn't happen often that the head alpha is challenged.

During the fight, all the scientists were rapidly taking notes and controlling all the camera's. Since this fight is about the leadership of the pack, one has to die or give up.

Eventually the alpha overmastered the former head alpha and killed him, making him the new head alpha. ''Kim Namkyu is the new head alpha'', the woman who's in charge of the records says. ''check reactions of the pack'', one of the head scientists says and multiple people start zooming in on different camera's. The family of the former head alpha was sitting beside his dead body mourning over him. The mate was holding his cold hand against her forehead while his seven years old son had his head against his chest. The scientists watched with sad faces seeing the usually happy family so broken.

Over the next few weeks, the seven-year-old got even more sad. His mother was grieving constantly, not coming out of her den and the little boy was left alone to take care of his mother and his own grief. The scientists watch, but don't interfere since this is something that happens in nature and the little tiger has to do it himself.

Jeongguk kept making progress with speaking and he got more social over the years, the once shy boy blooming into a happy social butterfly. The scientists love his company but they know he can't keep living with the humans. Soon he will hit puberty and he needs to let out his animal instincts, something he can't do if he stays in the research centre. So when Jeongguk hits 14, they made the decision to send him back to the bunny territory. They thought him everything he needs to know to live on his own such as finding food, building a home, doing his laundry. He was also thought how to fight a little so he could defend himself if other bunnies would attack him, seeing he has white ears.

''Jeonggukie, remember we love you so much'', one of his noonas says as she gives him a tight hug. ''I don't understand'', Jeongguk pouts. ''You'll go live with the other bunnies'', his hyung smiles. ''didn't you say I'm different from them?'' ''no honey, your special, they're just jealous'', his other noona comforts him. ''are you sure?'' ''positive'', she smiles. ''okay''.

After he said goodbye to everyone and gave everyone a tight hug, he gets injected. All his senses starts to get numb and he starts to feel drowsy. He isn't allowed to know the exit of the bunny territory.

He wakes up on a surface of grass and dirt. He groans and tries to rub the sleepiness out of his eyes. He looks around and doesn't notice anything besides trees and bushes. He stands up and starts walking in a random direction, hoping to find someone that could help him. ''hello?!'', he starts yelling in the hope of someone finding him, but no avail.

After a while his sensitive bunny ears started to pick up some sounds and he decided to follow it. In the research centre they told him he had more sensitive ears then normal bunnies and that he should take that as an advantage.

After walking for about ten minutes he started to make out words from the noises and he excitedly starts running towards the little town he found. He stops behind a tree to observe the town just to be sure and quickly found out that all the bunnies looked like him, except they had black or brown ears, making him frown. Wasn't it normal to have white ears?

He carefully walks into the little village and looks around curiously. People started noticing the white eared bunny and began gossiping about him. Jungkook noticed the loud talks starting to form into whispers and he frowns. ''he has white ears'' ''what is he doing here?'' ''where did he came from?''. His sensitive ears heard most of the whispering and he lowered his head, instantly getting the feeling he wasn't welcome here.

''hey you!'', he looks up to see a male staring at him. He looks behind him to make sure the male is talking to him before walking into his direction. ''what's your name'' ''J-Jeongguk sir'', he politely bows and the man frowns. ''where did you come from?'' ''from the white building'', Jeongguk smiles. ''you don't belong here'', the man says and Jeongguks face drops. ''then, where should I go?'' ''I don't care, as long as it's not here'', he scoffs and he turns around to stop facing the slightly shaking hybrid. So he really was different? Why didn't people want him here?

Jeongguk started walking back to the forest he woke up in, now noticing more clearly how people look at him; weirded out, curious, disinterested or even disgusted. The bunnies ears started to hang even more and he retrieves back into the safe comfort of the forest.
