The country mourns the sudden death of King Park, a fair and just ruler.

"Jimin?"

A knock on his door was heard, but Park Jimin made no move to open it, rather, he acted like he didn't hear it at all.

"Jimin? Are you in there?"

Jimin didn't move again, staring blankly up at his ceiling from where he was laying on his bed. His eyes were unfocused, his mind in another world, and dry tear lines were tracked down his face.

"I'm coming in, okay?"

The heavy doors to his chambers creaked open, and his mother, the Queen entered. She looked worriedly at her son, who was lying lifelessly on the bed.

She sat down on the bed beside him and took his hands into her own, caressing them softly whilst her eyes never left her sons face.

"Jimin my love, you cannot be like this." She murmured, and at her calming voice, Jimin finally shifted to face his mother.

"How can you deal with this Eomma?" Jimin whispered, his voice cracking at the end. "You loved Appa like I did, but why am I the only one like this?" The Queen sighed sadly, her beautiful eyes turning glassy at the mention of her husband.

"Because I have to be like this for the sake of our kingdom." She said. "In times like these, we must not break, because we're directly responsible for every one of our people. Only when we are no longer responsible, can we cry when we want to."

Jimin slowly sat up, and the Queen noticed how red and puffy her sons eyes were. She beckoned towards him and wrapped her arms around Jimin's body. She hugged him tightly, trying to reassure him that everything is going to be okay.

"How's Tae?" The Queen went silent, before answering. "He's roughly in the same state as you, but he's taking it a bit worse."

"Is he okay?" Jimin's mother nodded. "Yes, he's lying on his bed right now."

After a few moments, The Queen gently removes herself from her son, brushing her thumb over Jimin's swollen eyes. "I have to go now because I have a meeting with the advisors, so rest, okay?" Jimin nodded mutely as his mother got off his bed.

She walked towards the door, and with one last look at her son, she walked out, leaving the door to close quietly behind her.

After his mother left, Jimin got up silently from his bed, and putting on his slippers, he slipped out into the empty hallway.

He ran as fast as could, if one could run fast in curry slippers, and knocked on his brothers door. A muffled, "come in," was heard, and Jimin pushed the door open.
