"A what!" My eyes felt like they were going to pop out of their sockets.

"A Xanax," Kelsey said like it was common knowledge. "It calmed you right down."

"Why would I take that, especially from you!" I'm going to die. I'm going to freaking die and Hannah isn't even here with me.

"I just said you needed a xany and it looked like you agreed so I popped it in your mouth. You kinda choked a bit and then you swallowed," Kelsey explained.

"Ugh, that sounds like my first time," Amanda said with a grimace.

Amanda's response got strange reactions from everyone in the room except for Kelsey.

"Did I...say that out loud?" Amanda glanced at everyone before her eyes landed on Zara, who looked away from her.

"You have a tendency to say everything out loud," I said bluntly.  Why was everyone so loud? The inside of my head felt like it was shaking.

"I remember my first time with Joey on the beach," Kelsey stated proudly. "Or was it Jeremy...or Cody?"

"Ugh, I want to vomit but I can't," I said with a groan. I took a step away from Kelsey.

"It's fine Cara, just breathe," Jane said as she walked over toward me.

"What are you doing here?" I tried to take as many deep breaths as I could, but it was not helping.

"Well Kelsey messaged me and said that you were hanging out with her but you passed out. She took you to her apartment because it was close by," Jane said. "I rushed over to get you but I saw she had the good, good stuff out and then..." Jane looked away in disappointment.

I shook my head in disbelief. I expected so much more from Jane.

"I'm sorry that everything got out of hand," Zara said. "From what I remember we started drinking and you were talking about your parents and how you felt bad that you couldn't tell them about Hannah yet."

"That's when you went all wacked out," Kelsey said.

"Why did you let her give me that Xanax?" I couldn't help but glare at Zara and Amanda.

"They were distracted because blondie was doing a horrible job flirting with her," Kelsey pointed out.

"I will end you," Amanda threatened Kelsey as she took a step toward Kelsey.

Zara held Amanda's arm. "That wasn't what happened. We just got carried away in our conversation."

"I need tea and I need to be clean. I need to get out of here." I placed my hands into my pockets. "Where's my wallet? Where's my phone?"

"Living room," Kelsey stated. "Your phone has been going off all through the night."

I headed straight to towards the cream-colored sectional sofa. I grabbed my wallet and slid it into my pocket and a glance at my phone turned my blood cold. I had multiple miss calls from Jae Sun, Luna, and my mom. I went to my messages and saw a text from Luna.

Luna: You moron! Wrong chat!"

I went to my family group chat and once I saw the words, my heart fell.

Mom: Cara, you are gay?

"Cara, is everything okay?" Jane walked toward me slowly. Everyone else followed.

I quickly scrolled up on the chat until I found the message I sent.

Me: I don't know if you're ignoring me because you're still upset that I am with a woman or because you're too busy to even say happy birthday to your own twin, but I am done trying to be nice. I love Hannah and nothing can change that.
