~Test~

I walked away from the professor with Chi and Rai and Rai hugged me.

“Yay! You got your assignment. Now if you can return within an hour, you will be welcome into our class. IF you are slower, you won’t be. “ Rai told me.

“Yea. No pressure,” Chi says smirking and hit my shoulder lightly. I pretended it hurt, making chi freeze.

“I’m sorry. I forgot abou….” Chi glared at me as I burst out in laughter.

“I hate you,” She tells me, smirking. I shake my head and open my scroll, the two girls looking over my shoulder. It read;

Your mission is simple. At the centre of the market place is a heavily guarded place. You need to make your way inside. Then you will need to search around and locate the book called ‘Lost Kingdom.’ After doing so, you will be required to bring it back here. You must do all of this without being detected and using nothing other than your magyk. You are not the only one with this task, so watch yourself. Good Luck.

~ The Professor

I look up and smile.

“Seems easy enough. Well, I’ll be heading off. I’ll see you both later. I’ll call you two on your device when I’m back.” I tell them as I re-scrolled the scroll and place it in my bag.

I walked away from the girls and waved as I reached the entrance of the Academy. Sighing, I pulled a black cloak out of my bag and pulled it over my shoulders, pulling the hood over my head. I still was shirtless, but didn’t matter. I pulled on a blank black mask and made my way through the town, being careful not to let my magyk reach my feet. My eyes slowly turned to their traditional blue as I got closer to my goal. Knowing not to draw attention to myself, I looked around some of the nearby stores, buying a few useless parts so I could scope out the place without being suspicious.

 Making my way around the side of the building, I careful allowed myself to become liquid and passed through the wall, before becoming solid on the other side once more. I immediately hid behind the shelves next to me, trying to scope out where I needed to go. There weren’t any guards, which was different, but there was one of the highest ranked security technological systems I had ever seen. And taken apart of course. Lasers and beams of a sort were sensing around the floor, looking around for any differences in the atmosphere, which included temperature, humidity and radiation levels. I pointed out my finger at one of the beams on the floor and sent out a crystal of ice. The room immediately started to beep and guards appeared out of the shadows.

“Check the area. Water doesn’t just appear out of nowhere,” One of the guards says and I sigh. This was going to be harder than expected. They had said I was to do this without being detected. But they did not specify in what way I was to be undetected. Letting ice spread to my feet and out onto the floor around me, I watched as the blue tiled floor and the brown marble walls slowly covered with ice. This was what started concerning the guards. Or should I say Guard.

The guards all stood forward in perfect sync, leading me to believe the others to be clones. Creating a boomerang out of ice, I throw it hard and fast and watched as the guards disappeared one by one until the real one caught the boomerang and crushed it.

“Well, never seen magyk to this extent before. You must specialise in water. You also are one of the quickest to see through my clones. No one usual does. And, you used ice to freeze up all the camera’s and lasers, making the security system completely useless. I’m guessing  you are one of the minions of the Dark?” The guards says as he puts his hand to the ground, but removes it quickly as he warms his hands up once more from touching the freezing cold, shiny blue ice.
