~Zemi~
Zemi. The name of our next destination. Zemi was a small town, 20 miles away from the next closest town. It was known for its collection of weapons and fighters. Most of the human guards came from Zemi as they were usually trained in two or three martial arts, along with swords or guns.
You simply should have seen my face when we got to the gates. Supposedly I looked like a kid getting a present early. Anyway, it was the most amazing sight.
The buildings were colored silver with bits of colors that looked like wires here and there. The markets were crowded and full of people fighting, trading or selling. And there was a massive academy of 'arts' as they called it, meaning martial arts, which stood at the end of the city, its high roof being able to be seen from the gates.
"I am in heaven. This is amazing," Sebastian and I say at the same time before us both start to walk in. I quickly send Shiro a mental message telling him to call me mentally if he needs me. He nodded in returned before I smiled and headed towards the market after pulling on a jacket with a hood, Sebastian doing the same.
The market was packed full of many different people. Some had mechanical legs or arms or even eyes. Others were fixing or making stuff. One guy was trying to make a cannon cuff, similar to mine, but instead of shooting it, it ended up exploding. I chuckled to myself, Sebastian chuckling too. We moved on, going from store to store, scoping out parts and tools.
It was early afternoon when we got to the middle of the market and some guy bumped into me. Knowing Zemi to be full of fighters, I had hidden a couple extra guns in case of a fight. And this guy was trouble.
"Oi! Apologise!" The guy demanded and grabbed my arm. I raised an eyebrow at him and rolled my eyes.
"How about no?" I replied and tried to make the guy let go of my arm. He didn't budge so I nodded at Sebastian.
I slide between the guys legs, flipping him over and making him let my arm go. I turned around, watching the guy in my peripheral vision. When I saw him reach for his gun, I span around and faced the guy once more to find a gun at my head. I sighed.
"Ha. That idiot. Does he know who he's up against?" Someone says in the crowd.
"Hands behind your head kid!" The guy barks and I did as I was told, chuckling as I did.
"What's so funny?" The guy says and I chuckle once more.
"That you don't know who you’re up against," I casually saw before kicking my leg up, knocking his gun from his Hands. I turn once more to walk away, but he grabbed my hood.
As he pulled it down, I span round, now having two guns in my hands pointed at his head, both which were hidden in my jacket sleeves. I tsk at the guy, who looks both scared and embarrassed.
The guy looks at me in surprise before realise who I was.
"Snow. Ain't you?" He says. I nod slightly making him take a step back, my guns never losing aim at his head.
"That's Makoto Snow, the mechanic. One of the ones the darks after. He is quicker than I thought," another person from the crowd that now surrounded us called out.
"The one and only.” I mutter before pocketing my guns and catching the gun Sebastian had thrown at me.
"Fine workmen ship. You need better bullets though. You current ones are too small, so it would end up bouncing inside the barrel when you shoot and blow inside your gun. Try 10cm cannon bullets. They would work better. Oh and oil the trigger. It is a bit slow," I tell the guy before I throwing the gun in the air, catching it and handing the gun over to him.
“Thank-you Mister Snow. I’ll keep that in mind,” The guy says before he nods at me and walks off as the crowd around us scatters of into the market.
