Chapter 26: reality

Kaley pov

I looked up as I seen Raelyn hovered over me fanning my face. I looked around guessing I was still at home. I didn't know what happened or why I was on the ground, I just knew I was. I got up a lil, as Raelyn helped me.

"Kaley are u ok? she said looking worried as I got up all the way sitting on the bed".

"Y-yea I'm fine I said laying back".

"What's going on? I said looking at her worried".

"U don't remember? She asked with a worried look
on her face".

"No all I remember is waking up on the ground".

"Kaley....Trey got in a really bad car accident".

"That's why I called u to tell u so we could go rn the hospital".

I had just remembered what Raelyn was talking about. The final last seconds before I passed out.

*Flash Back*
"Uhh..Kaley... she said nervously".
"Hey, did u hear about that crash on the news, I asked taking another bite".
"Yes that's what I'm t-".
"Isn't it awful, I said cutting her off".
"Kaley that's what I need to t-".
"Whoever it is I hope they are ok, I said taking a sip of my water".
"KALEY ITS TREY, she said yelling finally getting my full attention".
I spit the water out, not believing what I just heard.
I then fainted on the ground as Raelyn was still on the phone.
"Kaley u there?".
"KALEY".
"I'm on my way rn!".

That's the last thing I remembered before I passed out. I needed to get to the hospital fast, to see Trey. Everything is just breaking apart. I should have never let him back into my life. Non of this would have happened if I did. Now he's in the hospital, possibly dying because of me.

"It's all my fault, I told Raelyn as I shook my head, covering my face with my hands as tears poured down my face".

"Kaley don't blame yourself, it was a careless accident, she said rubbing my back".

"This would have never happened If I had just not let him back into my life, period!, I said while more guilt built up inside me".

"Kaley...Stop. It's not your fault. Let's just go to the hospital to at least check on him, she said starting to get up".

"I'm sorry I just can't see him like that rn, I said getting up and putting my sleeping clothes on".

"I'll maybe go in the morning, but I'm tired, I said laying down".

"Well ok boo, don't pressure yourself, and get some rest, she said walking out the door".

After she left I drifted off to sleep..
