"Sh-Shut up Salaar" he smiled knowing the effect he has on her

"Say it" she didn't get

"What?"

"I love you" Phone almost dropped from her hand hearing his husky tone

"N-not so soon Mr Affandi. Ok bye" she quickly cut the call while he smiled imagining her all blushed

"Sabeen what have you done to me" he got up to see his mother

Maier was sitting in his office and his mood was off for obvious reason. Anabia was avoiding him once again. He got his breakfast and his clothes all ready but she didn't face him. The only time he saw her this morning was when Saiqa called him to the room to inform him about taking proposal to Sabeen's house tomorrow and that time also she was avoiding even eye contact with him

"Ok Anabia Taimoor, if you think only you can avoid me then I'll tell you how to avoid a person"

"Hello" he got distracted as Arsam entered

"Oh Hi, where were you?" Maier inquired about his absence for past week

"I've been away for business but can you please care to enlighten the whole Zawar fiasco?" He said sarcastically

"This Rehan" Maier muttered

"Yes if you're forgetting we all are partners in crime" he knew Arsam was pointing towards Anabia's kidnapping. Also Rehan was more like a friend to them than Maier's employee

"I know he has reservation about this new venture" Maier then told him everything from dinner night till yesterday night and about Aamir's suggestion

"Aamir is right but the step you have taken is too risky. What if he gets to know then .. then what?" Arsam was right, he knew Zawar can turn a backstabber anytime but he has to take the risk to keep his family safe

"I know but now he would keep a good distance from Anabia and also refrain from any attacks on me" he has a point though

"Anabia knows about your deal with Zawar?" It irritated him now

"Now you think I should take business to home. There is no need to tell her and it's a warning. I don't want to stress her"

Maier knew she would only stress her and also after yesterday night he has concluded that only it would be better if he keep him away from Anabia for some days

They were back to square one. She felt afraid even getting a glimpse of him and the way he behaved with her at Sabeen's place made it clear to her again that she is an unwanted person in his life who probably doesn't have any worth for him. He was completely ignoring her and if she by any chance tried to say anything, he would simply walk out from there. Life has been more complicated than ever before. He is behaving indifferent to her again.

When dinner was served at Sabeen's place and she made the plate for Maier but before she could serve him, he took out the other plate and filled it himself. She felt insulted but she controlled and after that day also he keep doing things which would hurt her in the end

Salaar and Sabeen's nikah was set after three week. Salaar wanted a nikah instead of an engagement because he was afraid that Sabeen may turn again from her decision

"Salaar Bhai is so loving. The way he takes care of Sabeen like she is a fragile doll and Maier …."

She thought of all the times when he would treat her like she is some toy he can play the way he likes but she shrug the thoughts as she remembered the time Maier and she spent after her Abi's discharge from the hospital
