"guys someone get my phone i need to take a picture of this"
"i already got a picture"
"they're so cute, why can't they just date again"
i hear everyone talking as i start to wake up, i open my eyes and see everyone stood near mine and jas' air bed
"can i help you and what time is it?" i say to them "yeah you actually can, please ask her to start dating you again because this is cute and it's 9:35am" alexia says holding out her phone showing me a picture of me and jas sleeping
"hey when did you take that?! actually can you send me that picture?" i ask and alexia nods
"you guys are really cute though" jonah says "yeah please please please date again" gabbie begged
"when the time is right we might date again but who knows right now" i say
"oh come on zach, i heard you guys kissing last night after everyone went to sleep" jack says and i mentally cringe at the thought of him hearing that
"WHAT?" alexia yells "NO WAY DID YOU GUYS KISS AGAIN" christina yells after alexia finishes yelling
"what's with all the yelling?" i hear jas say and then she snuggles herself into my chest and covers her ears
"yeah we might've but it's no big deal" i say playing with the ends of jas' hair
"trust me zach this is a big deal" alexia says and i just laugh
"anyone want pancakes?" daniel asks and i nod, everyone apart from me and jas go upstairs to the kitchen to make some pancakes
once they are gone jas sits up and climbs onto my knee so i sit up too
"why were they yelling?" she asks and then let's out a yawn "jack heard us kiss and they starting freaking out"
"trust them to do that" she says laughing and i smile
"can i ask you something?" she says looking up into my eyes "of course" i reply and she smiles
"what are we?"
"what do you mean" i ask "well i mean like are we friends or?" i smile as i realise what she means "well how about i ask this: what do you want us to be?"
"i don't know, but i know that i like you again" she admits and i smile and embrace her in a hug
"i wanted to ask this in a better place and better time than this but will you come on a date with me?" i ask and await her answer
"pancakes are ready!" jonah comes in shouting, breaking the atmosphere
jas stands up and holds my hand on the way to daniel's kitchen and surprisingly no one notices
we sit down in two spare seats and daniel gives us both two pancakes
i put nutella and strawberries on them and then start to eat them
i feel a little tap on my shoulder, i look at jas and she motions for me to come closer
"of course i'll come on a date with you" she whispers in my ear and i smile and grip her hand under the table
"okay what did i just witness?" gabbie asks and jas blushes "oh nothing" i say and smile at jas
