Ch. 3 emergency mission

~Ayame pov~

Team 7 was walking towards the hokage's office. Naruto stretched , "Ah it's so good to finally go on a mission again."

"Listen whatever type of mission we get , just take it and don't complain." Sakura sighed , narrowing her eyes at Naruto.

"Don't sweat it!" Naruto grinned cockily.

I poked his cheek , "You better not!"

His cheeks went red out of embarrassment?

A ninja charged towards us , "Outta the way , Outta the way!"

We cleared a path in panic.

Naruto shook his fist , "Watch where you're going ,who do you think you are?!"

Kakashi narrowed his eyes , he knew something and wasn't telling us.

We stood in Tsunade's office .

"Escort duty!" Naruto complained .

I shot him a glare and he flinched away while going red.

Tsunade sassed , "Have you got a problem with that?"

"Since you're asking yes." Naruto exclaimed.

I wacked him in the ribs , "Shut up damn it!"

He huffed looking away and crossing his arms , "Whatever Ayame!"

"I miss the third Hokage" Naruto started.

"Shut up Baka!" I growled elbowing him hard .

He pouted with a pink hue to his cheeks.

Suddenly a women ran in with a scroll and it appeared to be an emergency mission.

They started at the contents in shock.

"No way!" Shizune muttered.

"What is it?" Naruto asked .

"It's the sand village..." Tsunade hesistated , "The Kazekage has been abducted by the Akatsuki!"

"Gaara?" Naruto furrowed his brows , "so they're back again."

"This is urgent I haven't time to send anyone else on this mission." Tsunade sighed.

It looked like we would be taking this mission, so much for an easy and simple first mission to get back into the gist of things.

We stood at the village gates ready to depart , Temari and Shikamaru were there and Temari agreed to help us get to the village.
