strikingly attractive features with clear brown eyes and a sullen gaze,
frantically flowing river-like tears and vision with a haze,
once beautiful smile turned into a frown,
unaware of the battles inside, as she drowned
with piles of burdens, piles of insecurities
no one knew the weight it was bearing
with heaving breaths, palpitating beats
shivering hands, covered in pale-coloured sheets
voice hoarse as she helplessly screamed,
snapping out of the horrors of her dream
