"When do you think we should tell people?"she asked as we sat reading together "with everything going on...I think after Christmas will be the best bet" I said, she frowned slightly but nodded "Okay, if you think that's for the best" she said, I kissed her "it's a big thing mione... I just want everyone to be calm and not thinking of other things when we tell them" she smiled a nodded

Lilly's pov

"I love decorating Christmas trees.. there's something so satisfying about it" Ginny said with a smile as her and Ron went through a box of decorations "I agree, and you can theme it and make it look however you want"hermiome said,I smiled as I went around putting the lights on the tree with draco and pansy. We were finished the tree and it was amazing "I've ever seen anything like this" I said walking around looking at all the different baubles and coloured tinsel "Did you never have a tree?" Hermione asked " we did, but we only ever put lights on it....it was never this pretty" I said with a grin as draco gave me a side hug

It was Christmas eve and I was finishing wrapping presents when an owl hit the window, I let it in and unhooked the letter attached to it's leg and opened it

Merry Christmas to both of you, I miss you both very much and I wish I could tell you where I am but that's a puzzle you will have to uncover yourselves. Inside you will each find a small gift that will need to be resized. I'm sorry I can't spend this holiday with you but I love you both get much.

I read it twice before picking the two little packages out of the envelope "Draco!" I shouted, he came running in and I handed him the letter with his gift "she's alive....thank merlin" he said with a hint of relief in his voice. I performed the spell on both gifts and we unwrapped them. Draco got a tie clip with his name inscribed with a green gem, I opened mine and inside was two small red studs. I smiled and shown draco

"I think this means she accepts your house" he said with a small giggle. I hugged him "I miss her"i whispered, the tears beginning to well up in my eyes "I do too, but we'll find her. I promise" he said I nodded before putting the studs in and going downstairs to join the others

"So what exactly did you say this thing was called?"I asked Hermione as we all sat round what I think she said a was television "a TV" she said with a smile "but I don't understand, so muggles use these? Why don't they just go outside or read?" I questioned, harry laughed slightly "they do, but most like to use these when there's nothing else to do"harry said "but-" I began "Love....just watch the movie and I'll explain more later" harry said with a soft smile.

I nodded before snuggling into him and watching the image on the screen. About an hour in I started getting a headache "it's just that you are not used to it, why don't you take a break?" Ron said. I nodded deciding to go into the kitchen and get things ready for 'Santa' as I was doing so harry walked in "what are you doing?" he asked as I poured a glass of milk "cookies and milk for Santa" I said with a smile "you still-" harry began "no no no, but my mother would insist that no matter what age we were we left a glass of milk and a plate of cookies on the fireplace and then we'd wake up and play along with it. I think it's just so she can have that one little things that makes us still seem like her little baby's ya know" I said with a smile

"yea" he nodded "id like to visit my father's grave tommorow if that's okay? I though we could apparate and if you'd like we could go see your mum and dad's....but only if you'd like" I said with a wary voice. He looked up and smiled a tiny smile "id love that" he said kissing the top of my head and hugging me, we held onto one another right as if it was the last time we would touch. When we did let go I looked at my watch and it was nearly midnight. I grabbed the plate and glass and brought it in, draco smiled as I sat it down and the others didn't notice "one thing to bring her closer" I whispered "good" draco whispered back

Christmas morning was amazing, everyone was so excited and happy. As I was getting ready harry walked in, he wore a red jumper that had been knit by Mrs weasley and trousers "Didn't think anyone could style them jumpers so well" he said looking at me as I wore my jumper from Molly with a black denim skirt boots and a cloak "you can always style mollys jumpers, plus they are so cosy!" I said with a smile as I walked around the guest room we stayed in. He walked over and grabbed my hand, my eyes met his "I have one last gift" he said

"Harry you got me far too much as it is" I said "close your eyes" he said, I smiled and closed them. A few seconds later he told me to open them and infront of me was a gorgeous necklace with a red owl on it "oh harry.." I gasped looking at it "Put it on me!"I said with a giggle. He fasted the clip and made sure it sat in the middle of the chain "do you like it?" He asked I kissed him and He smiled "I love it, thankyou". We Finished getting ready before heading downstairs "we'll be back soon" harry said "are you sure you don't want to come?" I asked draco. He nodded no, I only signed before walking out the door and separating t godrics hollow.

Harry's hand reached for mine as we walked through the small village "this place is lovely" I said to him, he nodded with smile before leading us to the grave yard. He brought us infront of his parents grave and wiped the snow off of it. He sat silently, just thinking. I stood behind him before kneeling down infront of the grave

"hi Mr and Mrs potter" i began "Im lilly malfoy, I know this isnt the way I planned to meet you but it's a pleasure. I've heard many story's about you and can only imagine how amazing on both were. You have an amazing son, who I Cherish. I just want to say thank th to bringing him into this world" I said. Some would say it was weird, that I was talking to myself but I know in my heart that they hears it. "I'd be lost with out him, he's my everything. You'd be so proud of him" I said, I turned round and a year slipped down his cheek "You mean that?" He questioned "every single word" I replied, kissing his cheek. We stayed a while longer before visiting the malfoy graveyard.

I walked slowly over to my father's grave and brushed the snow off of it, "Hi daddy....merry Christmas. I miss you, mum's missing....we..we aren't sure where she is" I began, Harry's hand gently squeezing my shoulder "Send me a sign daddy..something....please, i really need one of you here with me"i said with a cry before sitting in silence.

While I stared at the grave I noticed something behind the headstone, reaching behind I grabbed it and noticed it was the same photo me is draco had "Harry!" I said jumping up " you found another one? Lilly that's great" he said with a smile, I turned around and looked and my farther graves and kissed the headstone "thank you dad" i said before we apparated away
