Lilly's pov
"Lilly you need to focus all your energy when doing this, keep your arm straight and focus all your power on the spell" harry said. I closed my eyes before shouting stupefy knocking the figure to the ground and sending a burst of light all round. He smiled before walking on to someone else. I had joined DA, Dumbledores army. After staying with the Weasleys over summer I realised I needed to fight for the right cause no matter what and this was the right cause.
Umbridge was ruining this school as it was, we needed some ray of light coming from somewhere. When I was leaving I noticed cho Chang stop and talk with Harry, I stayed behind and before I could blink she was kissing him. I stood behind the corner so she wouldn't see me when she left and but when harry looked back in the mirror he seen me "Lilly..." he said turning round but I was already gone.
The next day we learnt about patronuses "think of your happiest memory, focus all your energy on it! Brilliant Luna.... right Lilly" he began "What's your happiest memory" he said "it's one with my mother and me in a park" I lied "you need to think happier, the happiest you've ever been" he said, I closed my eyes thinking of the yull ball and waved my wand to produce the prettiest owl that flew circles round me, I smiled but it soon vanished as the walls began to shake
"Harry...?" Hermione said as we all stood in a group and watched the wall crumble, to show Umbridge and her goonies standing with her, my brother holding onto cho Chang "fuck..." I whispered "Get them" Umbridge said as her 'club' swamped in grabbing each of us "hey get your hands off me" I said, pushing Pansy off me "I can walk myself up thank you very much" I spat, followings the crowd.
When we got up too umbridges army Draco grabbed me "you idiot" he hissed "Tell her Harry!" Hermione shouted as Umbridge held her wand at him "Harry tell her!" I shouted again "well if you won't tell her I will" Hermione said "where what is?" Umbridge asked, her wand dangerously close to Harry neck "dumbledores secret weapon" she said, a look of concern came across my face. As they talked I fiddled with my wand, attempting to get it out of my pocket with out showing any signs. When I grabbed it I pointed it at Umbridge
"expeliamus" I said, her wand flying to the ground "How dare you!" She shouted, I kept a straight face as she walked over "the rest can leave, I've heard enough. You miss Malfoy can stay here, we are going to have a word" she hissed as the slytherins dragged the others out, my brother let go of my arm chucking me in umbridges direction. I looked over at Harry before the door was shut and I was sat down "I will be making a complaint to your father about this....how dare you" she hissed. I said nothing "fine then, your going to write some lines" she said handing me a quill and paper.
She told me what to write and I did, when I noticed the scaring start on my hand my eyes widened 'I shall follow the rules'. After an hour my hand was bleeding and burning, I got up tears of anger in my eyes "now don't EVER disrespect me again" she spat, I walked out holding a tissue to my hand letting a tear fall. I slammed the common room door which alerted some I was back. Ginny came running down "oh merlin your hand!" She said as she can running up "she's an evil evil women" I hissed "of course she is, why else would she be here. Come on let's get that hand cleaned and bandaged" Ginny said brining me upstairs.
"I need your help" Harry said running up to me as I walked to class "with what?" I asked "breaking into the ministry?" He whispered. I turned round and pulled him down an empty hall "Breaking in to where?" I said, not believing what he just "The ministry, we need to retrive the prophesy ball" he said in a whisper "Harry are you trying to get yourself killed?" I questioned, concern all over my face as I scratched my head "wait what happened to your hand?" He asked "What?" I said, putting my hand down "nothing, it's fine. Yes I'll help you, just fill me in when it's happening" I said, trying to walk away "hey!" He said "what harry?" I asked "will you just tell me what happened to your hand...please?" He asked. I unwrapped the bandage and shown him "Umbridge happened" I said "Lilly.." he gasped "it's not a shock Harry you have one too...now I have a class to get too and I'm sure you'd rather be talking to someone like Cho Chang anyway" I said getting up and walking away.
Later that day I was pulled away and told to get ready, we would be leaving in an hour. I got changed and picked a couple of potions mum had sent me before meeting the others. When we reached the department of mysteries we split up, Harry grabbed my arm and we walked down the dark hall. When we looked over we seen Ron and Hermione on one said and Luna, Ginny and Neville on the other. When we finally got the prophecy destheaters showed up "Harry!" I said, pointing to a familiar figure "where's Sirius?" He asked but the figure began speaking and removed his mask
"dad..." I gasped "you do anything to us I'll break it" Harry said, that's when I heard the familiar cackle of my aunt "Harry we need to go" i hissed but they kept talking. We heard the sound of more appearing and each took a hall "Everyone now!" Harry shouted we all began to shoot the curses and began running. My father kept his eye in Harry so I ran on the other side of the shelf, appearing at the gap and shooting the curse. We all ran into each other and ran down the last hall way we could see opening the door and falling. We didn't hit the ground though just gently landed
"Harry let's go" Hermione said "don't you hear them?" Harry said "Harry there's nothing to hear" I said "I hear them" Luna said. I looked around but seen nothing "Harry it's and empty arch, please let's go" I said but seconds later I couldn't see anything but black and before I knew it I was standing round in a circle a deatheaters wand to my neck. Harry looked around his face becoming pale, I tried pulling away but the death eater put its wand closer to my neck "be careful with that one" my father said, pointing his wand at me and walking towards Harry
"now...give me the prohecy or watch your friends die" my eyes went round the room and then back to him as he handed it over to my father. But just as that happened white clouds appeared pushing the deatheaters off of us. I went to dive towards harry but was grabbed by Tonks "Tonks no! I need to help him" I cried "Sirius is there, now come on let's get you and your friends safe" she said pushing me towards the others, I grabbed Ginny and held onto her "I'm so glad you're okay" I cried hugging her but was quickly interrupted by Harry's screams. I looked up and seen Sirius going into the veil
"No!" I screamed getting up and running, my father was unconscious and the death eaters had vanished but when I got up harry was chasing my aunt. Hermione and Ron ran on but we were held back, brought back to the castle. I was too tired to think and just went to sleep, I knew this much...the Weasleys may have an extra visitor this summer....
