I sat next to her while she ate her food

- This is disgusting - she chuckled - it's the worst thing ever

I smiled at her.. I couldn't take my eyes off of her.. she was alive and breathing right in front of me..

- It's better than the school's food no?

She nodded her smile fading away a little

She looked up and shook her head - Nothing.. I'm just.. tired

She looked back down and pushed her food away just to place her hands on top of her legs and a silently cry - I don't eat at school.. I never ate.. I spent days without eating..

I looked down feeling my heart crack

I know that I believed in Miley before but I didn't knew what was the real story behind Demi.. I didn't knew she was Dee.. I didn't knew her past..

I found myself feeling kinda guilty for judging her in the past..

I looked towards snapping out of my trance - I an not leaving you..

She hopped out of the bed and into my shoes since she was barefooted

There was a knock on the door and we both looked at it. I was still holding her

I felt Demi starting to sob so I pulled her more against my chest

- What are you doing here? - she asked between sniffles

- I am worried about you.. I came to see how you are.. Are you okay?

Demi shook her head and started sobbing more - My best friend is dead and my dad tried to kill me.. how do you think I am?

Dianna looked down and that was my chance to look at Demi

- Love.. your mom really cares about you.. I bet she's really scared and she wants to apologize for everything.. let her in.. embrace her..

I smiled at her and walked to a rug near Dianna where Demi could walk

She jumped out of my feet and hugged her mom.. both started crying
