"So how was you date with Liam?" Mia and Katie badgered me as I entered the school gates. Today I was sporting jean shorts and a full sleeved grey jumper. My head was sporting a beanie, like usual, but unlike usual I was sporting pink lipstick and a smile that was brighter than the sun.
"I think that smile indicates it went extremely well, he possibly doesn't even care that you got semi nude and made out with public enemy number 1" Katie said earning a stare from me. "What?"
"Firstly, my date went perfectly okay thank you. In fact it went so okay that making out with Liam is my new favourite hobby. Secondly, he agreed we'd forget about that incident yesterday and we'd start everything from fresh. Thirdly, I am officially beginning day 1 of ignoring Louis. I am literally going to stop talking to him"
"Sounds like a plan to me" Mia laughs as we enter form. My eyes scan the room and I see four of the five members of Liam's group all chatting. Liam is one of them. He seems to be sporting the same smile as me. I walk over to him and sit on his lap. The other three guys, Niall, Harry and Zayn are making kissy faces.
"Hello you" Liam whispers in my ear. "I think you look rather sexy today"
"Of course I do" I say rather full of myself. "Naah I'm joking. I'm going to sit over the otherside with my friends because as much as I could stay like this for the rest of form I don't want to cause friction between you and certain friends of yours"
"I completely understand. He's running later than usu- oh I spoke too soon" Liam coughed as I got up from his knee. Louis entered the room and it fell completely silent. He looked rough. His hair was a mess, he had bags under his eyes and he seemed to be wearing grey sweatpants and a plain black shirt. Despite his dog rough appearance, he didn't even register the room had gone silent or the fact I had been sitting on Liam's knee. He just slumped in his chair and got his phone out.
"I'll see you later Liam" I go and sit next to Mia and Katie.
"What's his problem?" Katie wondered allowed.
"Don't know, Don't care" I muttered. But even as I said these words, I couldn't help but look up and take a glance at him. His four friends were asking him if he was okay, but he was ignoring them. He just kept looking at his phone, and then up at the ceiling as if he was trying to hold something inside of him. I couldn't figure it out. Percy, a boy from our form who was an even bigger arse than Louis, spoke up.
"What's the matter Tomlinson? Pissed because you best mate is boning the girl of your dreams? I wouldn't get hung up over that slag. She'll be shagging all your mates before you know it, dirty cow" He cackled aloud. Louis didn't say anything, but I sure was.
"Percy, do you want a black eye?" I yell at him making him jump.
"I'd love one darling from you" He winks and it makes my skin crawl.
"I wasn't intending on giving you a black eye, but it can be arranged if you ever call me a dirty cow again" I said as I looked up at Liam who was about to explode with anger at Percy, but he looked at me and he calmed down. Until Percy opened his mouth again.
"Oh come on love, you''ll put it about for everybody, I think you should be careful" Liam was out of his seat and shouting at Percy within just seconds of the words coming out of his mouth. I was shocked to say the least. There was a large rumble as Liam and Percy were going head to head while Harry, Zayn and Niall tried to hold him back.
"EVERYBODY SIT DOWN NOW" The whole class went silent as our form tutor came in. Everyone did as they were told, Mr. Boring never shouts that loud, ever. Every were looking amongst themselves except from Louis who was still looking at his phone. "Alright, now will somebody explain what's going on before I give all of you detention tonight. Bearing in mind that Mr. Tomlinson and Miss. Fellows are already in for an extra week due to their antics in detention last night"
"It was Liam! He came at me unprovoked!" Percy yelled, his gingery brown hair glowing with sweat.
"Get your facts right, ginger!" Harry snaps. "He basically called Robyn a slut and so Liam was defending her honour! He was having a moan at Louis too and you know that he shouldn't be doing that today of all days"
Today of all days? Why? What's today? Mr. Boring was thinking the same as me and glanced at Louis. "Is everything okay Louis?"
"Apart from the fact the love of my life won't even look at me, my Grandad is in hospital and I'm flunking German and English. Nothing, I'm fine" Louis says and sinks into his chair. The room is so tense you could cut the atmosphere with a knife. "My mother is blaming me for my grandad's illness, she keep calling me a waste of space. Verity is now dating that numnut of a boyfriend, my best friend has betrayed me and I have a weeks worth of detentions"
"Right, Percy detention for a week please and you can go to the headteacher. Harry, don't call people out for their hair colour, Louis I'm going to refer you to the school nurse, I think it'd help for you to talk to someone. Liam, Detention for retaliating"
"What aboout Robyn? She threatened to punch me!" Percy moans.
"I don't blame her" Mr. Boring said as he sat down in his chair. "Now, today we're talking about..."
The bell wouldn't come quick enough.
