"and it just feels like everything has gotten smaller,
the world used to be an adventure!
it was vast, and rapid, and beautiful.
i remember when the sky was blue and the trees grew along my street and summer wasn't boring.
all the neighborhood kids would come out and play in the park and we got dirty and we drank hose water and searched under rocks for rollie-pollies. life wasn't a limited experience back then, it was forever. we thought of high school as being a million years away."

her eyes seems to be darkened, though maintaining the green in them that had seen it all.

"i wanna put that same feeling back into you," he whispered,
"if only you'd let me love you."
