Friend,
i need you, for the stardust in my blood is lacking.
the light in my eyes is fading.
i can feel the days get colder because my heart seems a bit warmer each day.
isn't that funny?
my heart is warmer than the outdoors, despite the pain it has gone through.
the way our heart can heal and be ready to love again despite what happened in the months previous?
the small shattered pieces begin to forge new circulation.
it's almost as if,
those pieces are addicted
to being
broken.
