Becky's Pov

Ashley and I went into the kitchen. We didn't start cooking right away.she sat in a chair and I sat across from her. She looked at me. From her look, I couldn't understand what she was thinking. If it was good or bad, it made me a little nervous..

"Are you gonna say something or you just gonna keep looking at me?"I asked her in the end

"Are you two gonna be together again?" she finally asked me

"No" I answered her immediately

"Why?" she asked me with the eyebrow up

"I mean.. I love him, yes, and I miss him, and we have a kid together, but I'm not gonna make it that easy for him, Ashley.. I don't forget he left me, " I told her and she looked at me

"But you want to be together. you want to give him another chance, right?" she asked me and I nodded

"If he proves himself to me, yes, I'll give him a chance, after all, it's not just for me. it's about Audrey too," I told her and she smiled

"I always thought that sooner or later you two would be together again," she said and smiled

"Really?"I asked her

"Really, and I always wished to be together again. I can't imagine you with no one else I never thought you two could keep away from each other, for too long.. " she told me and smiled

"And that's probably the way it is," I said to her smiling

"He loves you.. I can see it in the way he looks at you" she confirmed to me

"You think so?"I asked in agony

"Of course he loves you.. " she smiled at me..

Ashley was always the one who told me the truth no matter what. She is like a sister to me and I always took her opinion very seriously.. She is always there for me and always be my side no matter what and I don't forget that

"And I love him and you know it" I said to her smiling

"I know.. did you think about what you gonna tell to Dean?"she asked me and I looked at her

"Ouch.. I have to talk to Dean " I bit my lips I forgot about that

"Will you go talk to him together?' she asked me and I nodded negative

"No, I'll talk to him alone. I'll let him spend some time with Audrey," I told her and I got up

"Going somewhere?" she asked me laughing

"No, I think we start cooking' cause they're about to be hungry. " i said

"Right" she stood up to helped me

"What are we gonna do?"I asked her

"Everyone likes lasagna." she laughed and I agreed.. I knew that both Colby and Audrey loved lasagna and Manuel too..

"Don't sound too quite? I'm going to see what's going on" I told her a little worried and she nodded while she was taking out the food ingredients. I went to check on what was going on in the living room.. I stayed behind the door and looked at them.. they were all playing together..

Colby's Pov..

The girls went to cook, leaving me, Manuel and Audrey in the living room to play..

"You took it very well that you became a father," Manuel told me, and I smiled.. Audrey was bringing us some of her toys

"She is adorable, Manuel, how could I not be okay with this?"I asked him and I looked at him

"You look calmer than ever" he pointed

"Um.. it's just that I've always wanted Manuel, you know that.. you know better than anyone that I loved Rebecca more than my life," I told him and he looked at me

"I know that's why i was impressed when you broke up, though I always thought it wouldn't last long" he laughed, and i laughed along with him

"We are have by a child, together" I said

"And a big crush," he said

"You believe it?"I asked

"Of course I do.. you won't be together so easily but that doesn't mean she doesn't want it" he told me and I looked at him

"I will fight and do whatever it takes to be with her again.. to be here where I belong.. with my family" I answered him and he smiled

"Let me fill you in something about your daughter," he said and I looked at him

"Yeah what?"I asked

"She loves to do pigtails," he said, and I looked at him with one eyebrow raised

"What do you mean?"I asked with Wonder

"When you untie your man bun and she sees that you have long hair she'll want to do pigtails to you and probably want to put you some make up on" he said laughing

"You mean that?"I asked surprised

"Of course" he laughed

"Alright.. I'll be spending so much quality time with her I guess" I said laughing while I looked at a message on my phone and then I looked at Manuel

"What happened? "he asked me curious

"Roman sent me a message, he has what we asked him to, and he wants to meet me tonight," I said

"Are you going?"he asked me curious

"Of course, but now we're going to play with my daughter" I smiled and we started playing with Audrey

She brought some stuffed animals and some kitchen utensils and we started having tea parties.. Audrey was having fun.. I took her in my arms and started tickling her.. she was laughing.. she looked at me

"Dad ?" she asked me.. I looked at her how beautiful that word sounded even though I'd never thought of it before

"What is it, my princess?"I asked her smiling

"Will you put me to sleep tonight and tell me a story?" she hesitated to ask me

"Of course, baby girl" I smiled and kissed her on the head..

We played until the girls called us for lunch.. I sat next to Audrey and Becky they had my favorite made. Lasagna. I was feeding my daughter who was having a little trouble  eat alone. she smiled all the time. I watched with the edge of my eye Ashley look at us and smiling .I guess she was happy for us. But I was happy, too. these were the best days I've had in years..

And it really was the best days for both Colby and Rebecca had spent years now. and they were trying to enjoy them for good. Because in a few days they'd be living some of the worst moments of their lives. From tonight that he willt take the papers Roman had found, everything would change once and for all.
