ADDISON'S POV

"Mom, we're leaving for school!" I shouted to mom from the sala since she's in the kitchen, baking cookies. That is her routine every morning. Baking cookies or cooking breakfast. She prefer this way than let our maids handle the kitchen and take in charge of cooking.

"Wait, baby! I'll be there in a minute. Stay tuned!" she shouted back which irritates me.

Argh! Here she goes again. Calling me baby. How many times do we have to tell her not to call us baby? Ugh! We're not baby anymore for pete's sake! We're already 19!

I was brought back to my senses when Allison poked me.

"Sissy, una na ako sa garahe. I don't want to hear mom's habilin," Allison playfully said and then chuckled.

I was just about to opposed because I don't want to be left alone with mom. But before I could utter a word, she's already nowhere to be found. Tss. Silly. Humanda ka sa'kin. I'll make sure you'll regret leaving me behind.

"Oh? Allison? Where's your twin Addison?" takang tanong ni mommy na salubong na ang mga kilay habang iginagala ang tingin sa buong paligid upang hanapin si Allison.

"Mom, it's Addison." For the first time for the past 9 years, I corrected her. Not because I want to, but because I need to. I still have to punish my twin.

Huh! It's pay back time, sissy.

"And about my oh-so-great twin sister? She already left. Ayaw niya raw marinig 'yong mga bilin ninyo. She's sick of it."

Gotcha! Now you're dead, my twin sister. Ginalit mo ang dragon. Haha!

"Ganoon ba? At sabihan mo rin siyang grounded siya for a week. No gadgets, no shopping and no going out. She's only allowed to step out of this mansion when she's going to school. Do you get it?" nagpipigil sa galit na turan ni mommy.

I can't be caught. It's not on my vocabulary.

"Yes, mom. I'll relay your message," I said in a dry voice to hide my laughter that was about to burst out.

"Good. Now here's your cookie," sagot niya at iniabot sa akin ang hawak niya.

Seriously? Mauubos ba namin 'to?

What the fudge!

What mom said made me sigh in relief.

At last. I thought I would be late for school.

"Bye, mom." I gave her a peck on her cheeks.

"Bye, sweetheart," paalam din niya.

Much better. I like the sound of sweetheart than baby. At least it sounds mature.
