may you continue to strive for the
dreams that our society calls
unrealistic, irrelevant
those voices in the home
on the street
on your screen
in your head
are white noise, the void into which
your sensitive soul may be tempted
to fall into
be one to smell the flowers
be kind for no particular reason
be one to care for the things that no one else finds
important in this modern world
allow yourself to be
soft, gentle and sensitive
to yourself and others
in this tragically cold world.
