Annabeth's POV
"Okay we gotta go show Erica around. Bye annie." Thalia says as the three of them walk away. Great now I'm alone. I wonder where percy is. "Annabeth!" Percy calls. He looks horrified. "I just met ur mother." He pants. Oh great. "What did she do." I huff. "Other than threaten me." I roll my eyes. "she warned me." he says. "Warned you about what?" I ask. "The war against Gaia and Ouranus." my eyes widen in disbelief.
"W.. what." I stutter. He hugs me tight. A war means a bunch of losses and I can't stand to loose percy. I am snapped out of my dazed thoughts when percy asks "Isn't Ouranus like .. Cut up into a gazillion pieces?" I laugh at him but then stop as the other thoughts flood through my mind.
How can I live if percy dies? I can't. "Hey" percy reads my thoughts. He lifts up my chin and looks into my eyes. "Don't worry." he smiles. "We will get through this, together." I nod. "Together."
