Life is considered to be a game, that's if you have one life on the line and you don't know what will actually kill you or not. You could find the love of your life just to lose them to bowser, Life is not a game and I don't think it should commonly be mistaken as one. Like my mama has once said, life deals you cards but some of them are just crappier than the other ones.
