This is not cannon to the actual Ask/Dare story. I just do this for fun.

A little background—

Gradient has "Daddy Issues"

Nightmare finds Gradient on a roof, and tries to convince him to say Nightmare's name "three times" so he can "Destroy" Error for Gray.

With that all in mind I hope you enjoy!

Gradient was on the roof of a tall building. He was sitting on the ground.

Nightmare had an idea.

[Nightmare:]
"[Gasp]You could use a buddy!"

Nightmare slivered next to Gradient.

[Nightmare:]
"Don't you want a pal?"

His tentacles "handtalked"

[Nightmare:]
"(Yes I do! Yes I do!)"

Nightmare wrapped his arm around Gradient. Gray turned the other way.

[Nightmare:]
"Boy, the way I see it. Your daddy should be leavin'! And you should stick around!"

Nightmare mumbled—

[Nightmare:]
"And kill him..."

Gradient quickly looked at Nightmare.

[Gradient:]
"What?"

[Nightmare:]
"Nothing!"

Nightmare got up.

[Nightmare:]
"So, Gradient don't end yourself!"

He did a justice sign.

[Nightmare:]
"Defend yourself! Daddy is the one you should maim."

Nightmare got close to Gradient

[Nightmare:]
"Together we'll exterminate!"

Nightmare made his "scary face"

[Nightmare:]
"ASSASSINATE!"

[Gradient:]
"No!"

[Nightmare:]
"The finer points can wait... But first, you gotta say my name!"

Nightmare grabbed Gray's arm, and dragged him off the ground. Gradient started walking on the edge of the building, as Nightmare followed him.

[Nightmare:]
"Go ahead and jump but that won't stop him! Here you got a solid plan B option! I can bring your daddy so much pain! All you gotta do is say my name!"

Gradient started considering it.

[Nightmare:]
"Boy, just say it three times in a row! Then you won't believe how far I'll go! I'm on the bench, but coach, just put me in the game! All you gotta do is say my name!"
