At school the normal crowd of milling kids all procrastinating outside, is smaller than usual. The chilled weather and sluggish morning must have payed its toll on the rest of the students like me.
Shuffling across the sidewalk I near the double doors to the schools entrance.
The hairs on my arms raise and I feel I'm being watched. I try to pass it off as paranoia due to the ominous weather, but I'm not convinced.
I scan the surrounding area trying to find the source of my unease. My gaze turns up nothing unusual, so I start forward to the doors.
Just as I enter I catch a fleeting glimps of a dissapearing figure in my peripheral, but It's gone before I can make any sense of it.
