A grey outfit was chosen for me as I rolled my eyes, making up my bed and such before I get ready to leave.

Room checks were very common it didn't matter if you were present or not. Once I was finished I headed back to my mirror to look at what outfit it specifically chose in my virtual closet.

"No" The mirror announced, before glitching appeared confusing me.

A white dress appeared on the screen, and I thought my mind was playing tricks on me when a green belt was wrapped around it.

I had never seen this dress in my life, and although it was ugly it excited me.

Is this some type of game?

No one was allowed to wear color besides the Diablo's and they specifically chose not to. 'Color is for the evil', they always said.

"I can't wear that."

"This has been chosen for you."

"By the Diablo's?" I questioned getting no answer.

Convincing myself to throw on the dress, I snatched it after accepting the outfit through the mirror putting it on. It was good to see a splash of color on me. The mirror was ran by the system and it never glitched, I assumed the dress code for the ceremony was different for today.

Rushing out of my room, the hallway was empty. I sped walk as fast as I could not wanting to spark any alarms. The Diablo's were going to be at the Ceremony today, as most Care Givers were and security was going to make damn sure they protected them at every cost.

Other's were at work, it still was a regular Friday for them.

"Need a ride?" I heard from behind me, and I didn't bother turning around knowing the mellow voice.

"No."

Continuing my journey, the ceremony took place all the way across the other side of the estate. "You're late, you don't need to be in more trouble then I'm sure you'll be fine if you show up without security." She slightly raised her voice as I got further away from her.

Slowing down I knew she was right, I would get punished for showing up late without an excuse.

"Please accept the ride. I'm just trying to look out for a friend, I can get you there in five minutes." Scoffing, I mocked her with the word friend.

"Do you even know what a friend is?" I challenged hitting a low blow, as she stared at me.
