My Review:
This is a historical novel where our FL transmigrated from modern world to historical. A mysterious bracelet that his grandfather had, took her to a world of unknown. The previous character of the FL body was ruthless (even maids were afraid), bad, and unruly. It only changed when our FL occupy the body. From then, she became a woman who had a modern thinking, business minded and excluded confidence.
FL only wants freedom. Free to do things (like marrying whoever she like) and leisurely pass the time. She was engaged to this powerful general, unwillingly. Since then, her goal was to become a powerful. Three years later, she earned her family's respect and eventually became the head of the family.
There were no external family conflict that the usual novel had. She had the "I don't care attitude" which added to her charisma. I liked that she was oozing with confidence, had a direct goal in life and is completely intelligent. There were three man in her life.
The first man was a young powerful general, her fiance, who cancelled the engagement because he doesn't like the attitude of the FL in the past. Later on, he was curious as there was a big difference between the past and the current self of the FL. As he was digging deeper, more and more surprises about the FL awaited him and his feelings unknowingly changed.
The second man was an assassin. Their first meeting was not good. The FL was taken hostage to escape from the men who is after him. After that, many instances that the 2nd man will meet the FL, until his feelings started to develop.
The third man was an emperor. The first encounter between the two of them was very magical. The FL was crossdressing and the ML thought she was a man. More situation arises and chances that will happen. Shocking moments and regrets came after.
What to expect? Expect there were moments were the enemy wanted the FL to fall and sabotage her business and problem arises. How she will surpassed this schemes?What will she do? I love the advices she gave to her sister about love. I totally agree when she said "Love was an important part of one's life, but it should not be one's whole life."
I love the part where the ML was going after the FL and their lovey-dovey 😂😍. And all of them each showing different approach to show their love to FL. There were wars and many excited things will transpire.
The translator translated it understandable tho there were parts that needs improvement. The construction of words and use of exclamation needs review. In all, I rated it 4 stars.
