"If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you."
John 15:7 (ESV)
COMMENT:
In this verse, Jesus tells us that when we abide in Him, we will get whatever we ask for.
But does He really mean that He will satisfy our lusts and give us anything our flesh desires when we ask? Of course not!
What Jesus is really implying here is that when we abide in Him, when we are rooted in Him, when we stand firm in our faith in Him, His desires will become our desires.
When we ask in faith according to the desires of our Father in Heaven, He will answer our requests.
Strengthen your roots in Jesus. Ask God what His desires are for you. If you have complete faith in the Almighty, He will not be far from you.
