Chapter 7 - The Wrath

"I see. You know what, in that place, I will bring you there in exile someday because I will make you flourish there just as I exiled Israel in the foreign land where they learned a lesson in that place."

"What?" I'm thinking that this man is out of his mind.

"Nothing. Just enjoy the rest of the flight!" He went to another seat to serve some passengers.

Because I was still puzzled about it and realizes that it was the man always in my dreams, I decided to stand up and approach him. As I was standing up, I spilled my coffee and everybody on the plane was staring at me. Then I woke up. It was just a dream.

Minutes later, Redemption Air flight JN 316 just arrived at Ninoy Aquino International Airport in Manila. After I claimed my baggage, I started to look for Angela in the waiting area. The arrival area is so huge and so many people inside that is why it's hard to find her.

"Who are you looking for?" a girl at the back was asking me.

Wondering who that girl was, I l turned my body. I was shocked who the girl was. My heart was pumping so fast and his face became radiant and I was stuttering in excitement.

"Is that you, Angela?"

"Yes, it's me my love!" then she hugged me while tears came out on both of our eyes. It's just like the time stopped when our hearts are now near each other. We felt each other's heartbeat in which they are always in tune.

When we arrived at the hotel, I shared with Angela what was recorded on my phone. As the song was playing, Angela was amused and thanked me while she was hugging at me.

"Thank you, James. I never thought I would love this way again, thank you for the song," she whispered.

"Thank you also, Angela, the song was timely because it was on Christmas eve that we were together. Here we are now, I can't still believe we are now in each other's arms. I love you!"

Then a cold morning of January greeted both of us early morning. We need to get up even though the weather is tempting us to sleep for more because we must go to Zion Theme Park. Belle and Joseph were waiting in the lobby.

"James! how are you, it seems that you are getting bigger since the last time I saw you.", Anabelle said as she was shocked he saw me.

"Yeah, maybe because someone makes my heart fat," as I glanced at Angela.

"Oh, how sweet, by the way, meet my boyfriend, Joseph."

"Hi, brother, so finally, I met the boyfriend of Belle!", I said to him.

"Hello, It's nice to meet you, James."

Then the four of us rode on a bus while I was so amazed at the big highways and tall buildings of Metro Manila in a clear cloudy sky. What's happier is we reunited again with Belle. We talked and talked to each other in the middle of the traffic.

But on the other side of the bus, Angela was just watching both. She just let me sit beside Belle so that we could talk, but she felt she regretted it because she was jealous. She remembered how I was so in love with my close friend and how devastated I was then.

Then we arrived at Zion Theme Park. A swarm of people went after it opened and we were excited. I always dragged Angela to go to the rides. Sometimes it's Belle whom I grabbed by my hand that made Angela insecure.

The three of us sometimes seated each other in some rides. But when we are together, it's as if Angela doesn't exist for me. I was just enjoying the day with Belle.

She was crying silently inside the comfort room and intentionally be in a silent mode. Still, I did not respond or even have a hint of what Angela felt because I just enjoyed being in the theme park.

While we are now eating for dinner, Angela and Belle chitchat with each other how they enjoyed the day. I went up and go to a farther restroom and as I was passing by in a tree, I heard something.

"So there you are, I've been looking for you! I've been calling and texting you, but I just found out you are here in a theme park. Thanks to a friend that saw you here," an enraged girl said that.

"Oh honey, I just being bored, don't I have a right to go here for fun?" said a man in defense.

"For fun huh? You were with a girl and you are sweet to her! Are you cheating with me?"

"No, it's not true. Whoever your source is, she is just painting me a bad image!"

"Liar!" then the girl walked out.

"Honey wait, let me explain!" a man shouted.

I was curious so I looked who were those making a scandal. When I saw who that man was, my eyes were burned with fire and the blood in my head was boiling, my hands were ready to kill someone. The man was Joseph, the boyfriend of Belle.

"So, Belle is not the only girl in your life, huh!" I called Joseph.

"Hey, brother, pls don't tell this to Belle. That girl a while ago, it's only a fling. She just took what we have seriously!"

"I can't believe it, you are just playing Belle, now taste my wrath!" then I punched his face and he rolled to the ground. Joseph retaliated by kicking me that made me more enraged and punched him again. People who saw that were shouting and some wanted to stop us.

"Hey stop that, what is happening?" Belle was shouting near us.

I was glancing at the back and I saw Angela. She was disappointed.
