Im like damn passed piss here, seriously, everyone has flaws, like, i have incredible dysphoria and my right eye has a slight lazy eye, i have no fucking clue as to what i should do with my life and my forehead is basically a mountain range, but pointing out flaws on people who used to see those flaws as the worst fucking thing in their life is hella messed up and we are all damn glad that gerard way is living a healthy life style
Hes sober, he has his friends and family for him, he isnt physically ruining his body for others to be happy and he even has his old band back. The band that not only saved our lives, but also each of theirs. We live in a damn society that points out our flaws, but wear those flaws proudly and youll see the better part of life
I cant say the same for myself because i seriously hate all of my flaws, but that should never mean you hate yours
One day, there are things i can fix about myself, like making myself look more masculine than i do, or try to wash off my forehead more often, but when i see other people making fun of the hard to change, like weight or sexuality or gender, i see that as messed up, you are fucking hurting the person and thats never fucking cool, so to the people calling gerard way overweight
To the people who think bi/pan people are just confused
To the people who think that there are 2 genders
To the people who think a band should go back to a certain era
To the people who think that mental illnesses are fixable with a simple "i love you"
To the people who think that disabled people in society shouldnt be here
To everyone who points out the unchangeable, the hard to change, the small things
