One look at your face and I'm broken
I go through life
And memories flicker in and out
You haunt this town and I can escape
I want you to go away
And I want you to come back
All at the same time
Do you still have my book
Do you read it
Did you cry over me
Like I have so many times for you
Do you ever regret leaving
Do you love her like you loved me
Do you love her more
I wanna know so bad
But I know the answers would kill me
Yay or nay they would ruin my life
I just want one more hug
One more real genuine hug
Or one conversation where you tried
Because it's been so long
since you've tried for me
And I try for you ever chance I get
You were tired
And I'm tired too
I just want one more conversation
Like we used to do
