Though it hurts like walking a million miles on broken glass
For you it feels like I'm walking just steps in soft grass
It hurts as I walk a million miles on broken glass
For you, it feels like I walk on soft grass
(Revised version that is featured in The Demon Girl written by Miss_Fletcher)
Justice is not punishment, but recovery
Led by others, it's a simple discovery
They say it's better to have fear than be feared
Do they know the pain of seeing innocent blood smeared
Maybe the day when we premiered
At the remarks we once feared
We shouldn't have shown weakness and disappeared
But simply found strength and sneered
He jabs his cheap shots
He speaks his mean thoughts
Though the consequences daunt
He knows he won't get caught
Long forgotten is what he once sought
In hell his soul will rot
I'm tired of lies, she cries
I'm scared because I cared
But most, she boasts
To have loved, I am glad
Even have it been only a tad

Pieces of Poetry
PoetryA bunch of short poems. I love the rhyming because it lightens the mood, and I hope you love it too. Keep in mind, I add a new part about once a month. Enjoy!
