You close your eyes listening for your cue on the piano, Yoongi sat beside you and played his keys swiftly.
And finally it was your turn and your wrist seem to tangle together as you played, you giggled when you struggled to touch certain notes because yoongi's hands were in the way.
"Okay okay this isn't going well" Yoongi shook his head with a grin, "But that is how you unsuccessfully play the wistful waltz with four hands and twenty fingers"
You smile, "That was fun"
Yoongi stares at you before he pats your head, and then your mother walks in. "Mom, we played the wistful waltz with four hands and twenty fingers"
"...Oh that's great...dinner is ready"
You and Yoongi stood and he immediately wraps his arm around your neck and walks your out while the two of you joke around with each other. The three of you sat at the table and ate dinner, "Daddy can you teach me how to play the flight of the bumblebees"
"Oh that's basic why don't you just learn how to play one of your pop's old songs"
"Hmm...Nah is rather learn real music"
Yoongi laughs at your smart mouth, you definitely got that from him. Your mother eventually slams her fork on the table, "Can we leave the music y'all in the studio...we are at the dinner table...please god" she rolls her eyes and drinks from her wine glass.
"She's right...how was your day y/n?"
"Oh just splendid daddy and yourself?"
"Absolutely magnificent baby girl"
The two of you giggle, your mother huffs and leave the table. "...What's wrong with mom?" You whispered to Yoongi, "I'll talk to her" he wipes his mouth clean and follows after your mother.
When Yoongi didn't come back down after a minute you leave your seat and sit at the steps.
"Everything is a joke to the two of you!"
"...Are you serious Jaqueline? She's seven-"
"And you're a middle aged male teaching your daughter that it's okay to back talk her father...she's gotten so disrespectful lately"
"They're just jokes Jackie" Yoongi rolls his eyes, "Oh sure just jokes, but that girl was to talk to me the way she does you she'd get popped in the mouth so quick-"
"You're not going to lay a hand on my daughter"
"....'My daughter'? I thought we made her together Yoongi?!"
"Lower your voice, she might hear you!"
"Good maybe she'll learn how to talk to adults!"
