Chapter 8: fireworks and saving
" Jealousy is a very ugly thing .."- The Golden Girls
" Ahh Prince Jimin!", spoke a young man with a boxy smile with dark hair. "It's your birthday and I believe you are one year closer to ruling ,no?"
Jimin laughed at the comment. "Oh Taehyung, you're so silly! But I don't want to rule just yet , as I don't want to find a wife so soon."
"Oh?", thought Akira. "Now this is getting interesting.."
"What do you mean?", asked Taehyung all confused.
"If I want to find a wife, I want her to love me for who I am, not because of my status", Jimin said as he sat on the edge of the balcony, his feet dangling in the free air. " I know you and father mean well, but all of the ladies just want me for my royal status... but I want to marry someone who loves me for my personality, loyalty and trust, not because of my crown."
"So pure", whispered Akira to herself. She wasn't going to lie, she had a tiny crush on Jimin now, even if he didn't know of her existence. And the way he spoke, was like a beautiful piano playing in the background, so calm and lovely.
She had forgotten about her crush about WinWin in that mere moment, as she was peeking every now and then to see more of Jimin.
Taehyung awed at the comment of his best friend before giving him a side hug. "You are so pure Jimin! Whichever girl you marry, I'll be happy for you!"
Jimin laughed at his best friend before hugging him back. "감사합니다! You are the best! You know , this is the best party I have had in years! Mother hardly ever wanted to let me go down on my own and father isn't home, I get to party with my friends here! Nothing can ruin it."
Then all of a sudden, lightning was heard in the background.The water around them began swaying back and forth violently, the wind blowing violently. Now the rain had begun to pour... hard.
"Hurricane ahead!"

"Hurry, hurry!", yelled one of the crewmen, as they were pushing the ropes alongside the boat, to keep the sail intact to the ship. Jimin and Taehyung were trying to keep the ship together before the waves now came crashing in, making the captain stumble the position. Jimin quickly went to the captain's deck and steered the wheel before he some rocks in the distance. Meanwhile, Akira and Namjoon were still hanging on to the ropes hanging around the ship.
"Hey Akira.. we should swim away", Namjoon replied as he gripped on to the rope. Akira shook her head at his response. "We can't! The crew and Jimin aren't safe here."
Namjoon glared at Akira. "We are not safe either, you idiot." before Namjoon could say anything else, the wind blew him away into the water below him. Akira gasped but not before her eyes widened in horror to the site next to the ship.
