Chapter Five: Trust

Joey, Illiana, and Noli were walking in the forest. Noli had Shorter on her shoulder. Joey side eyed him. Illiana smiled at him.

Joey: So ... where are you going again?

Illiana: To Ancient Temple.

Noli: That sounds so cool!

Illiana: It is. It's filled with tons of secrets.

Joey banned over to Noli's ear.

Joey: Maybe we can find out why we are here.

He whispered. Noli nodded. Joey stood back up. He still didn't trust Illiana. For all, they knew this was a trap. Joey put an arm around Noli's back. Noli looked up at him confused.

Joey: I'm keeping you close.

Noli sighed.

Noli: Joey relax ... Illiana isn't gonna do anything. She's nice!

Noli smiled.

The Ancient Temple was deep in the forest. There was vines all over it. Illiana put her hand on the door. It glowed red and opened. Joey was hesitant to go in after that.

Joey: Wait! How do we know you aren't gonna trap us in here?!

Noli: Joey!

Noli hissed.

Illiana looked Joey.

Illiana: Do you really think I'm that evil?

Joey: Yes! You came from no way! You told us about the villains! You also told us to stay away from the Dragon Lands! You know all this stuff about Discord! How do we know you aren't a Villain yourself!

Illiana stared him down.

Illiana: Fine. I guess you won't see the world inside here.

Illiana walked inside the Temple. Before the door closed Noli run into it.

Joey: Noli!

It closed. Illiana and Noli were inside the Temple.

Illiana: You didn't have to do that.

Noli: Joey is a prick! I know you aren't a Villain!

Shorter nodded. Pinkamena was starting to feel bad. She shook it off. Illiana and Noli walked through the Temple. There's was big Statues that had vines all of them. They pass by lion statue. Noli gasped and hugged the back of Illiana.

Illiana: You ok?

Noli: It's a little scary in here.

Illiana patted her head.

Illiana: Stay close to me. I'll protect you.

Noli held Illiana's hand tightly. Shorter makes a Spider sound to Noli.

Noli: It is a little creepy.

Joey was trying to get into the Temple.

Joey: Why would Noli go in there?! She knew it was dangerous!

He was trying to bust down the door, but it was made out of stone! His shoulder was killing him. He still tried to knock it down.

Nightmare Moon and Chrysalis we're watching him from a tree branch. 

Queen Chrysalis: I have never seen more of a stubborn human in my life!

Nightmare Moon: He must really care about that girl.

Queen Chrysalis: That or he is really stupid.

Joey kept trying to break the door.

Nightmare Moon: Definitely stupidity.
