"Is that code for something or...?" Ryan asked as he cocked his gun.

"I literally mean that Lyn will make us coffee."

"Seems like you're stress-ed." Sarah told me, making the word two syllables.

"Continue your training." I told them.

As I turned around, the doors of the training grounds suddenly burst open.

"Hades..."

"Luke?"

"Hades, or should I say—"

~

"Xander!" Austin greeted me, immediately pouncing on me.

"Goldstin." I replied, patting his back.

"Oh yeah, like I haven't heard that one before." He said with an eye roll.

"Boys, let's get wasted." Jacob announced as he ushered as closer to the house blasting music that could be hear from where we were standing— about five blocks away.

"Men." Kitian corrected, removing Jacob's arm from his shoulder.

"Sorry boy, but I'm the only man here." He replied.

"What makes you think so?" I questioned.

"Bet?"

"Alright, last to pass out is the only man out of the four of us."

"Sounds fair to me."

"You're all going down, boys."

We all looked at Austin on that.

"What?" He asked innocently.

"You're too young for this, Austin." I told him.

"Oh, ha-ha. Very funny." He deadpanned, "I'm older than you."

"You're shorter."

"Height does not define age, Xander!"

I laughed at him, and we started moving towards the light.

-

"Xander, watch me do a flip!" Kitian yelled sloppily.

"No, no, no, no, no! You are not doing a flip, Kit!" I yelled.

Too late.

He landed flat on his face.

"Hey, buddy, you okay?" I asked as I poked his face.

"Huh, already passed out." I murmured, "I guess I'll just get you on a bed."

I reluctantly carried him upstairs to a vacant bedroom, which looks like it was not previously vacant.

I took off the sheets and place him on the mattress.

"You're the least man of all of us, Kitian. I hope your dignity splats just like your face did." I told his unconscious body as I slapped his cheek lightly.

I went on to try and find the others. I've already drank at least twelve shots, and I am starting to feel dizzy.

"Hey, can I have some?" I asked an awkward girl holding a cup.

"O-oh, yeah. I wasn't planning on drinking it any-anyway. My... f-f-friend just dragged me all the way here." She said as she handed me the drink.

"Hey, you look familiar." I told her as i looked closer.

She reddened under my gaze.

"Oh wait! I remember now, you're Lily, right?"

"I-It's Layla."

"Oh, sorry." I laughed, "Oh, well, got to go look for Jacob and Austin."

"Wait."

I turned around, raising an eyebrow.

"Wh-what are you doing in this part of the city? It's t-t-the other side."

"I could say the same for you."

Her eyes darkened as if I had found out something that she was hiding.

"But I know the host of this party, you?"

"L-like I said... my.... friend dragged me here."

I nodded and was about to turn around when I heard a familiar voice.

A familiar, loud, annoying voice.

That was singing Call Me Maybe by Carly Rae Jepsen.

"Jacob, what the fuck are you doing?" I muttered before maneuvering my way through the sea of bodies.

I finally found the sound system where Jacob was holding the mic in a rather dramatic pose, as if he was performing in a concert, where he was surrounded by people amused by what he was doing, and the karaoke was showing the lyrics of the rather embarrassing song.

"Before you came into my li- sing it with me!" He said dramatically, singing off-key.

I need to get a video of this.

"I missed you so bad! I missed you so so bad." He sang while his voice cracked.

"Whoo!" I yelled, pumping my fist in the air.

"And you should know th-a-t!" He continued, twirling around.

"So caaaaall me may—" he winked, "—be."

"Twitter is going to be the first to see this." I said as I posted it, "Remember me when you're viral!"

I pushed my way through the crowd when I saw that he was already looking for another song.

"Hey, play Firewo—"

"Nope, you're done. You're drunk." I told him, tugging his hand.

"Hey, Xander!" He exclaimed, prolonging the 'y' and 'r' in his greeting.

"Hey, Jakie." I greeted back, taking him to the kitchen.

"How is you? I mean are. Wait, that's a letter." He furrowed his eyebrows in confusion.

"Drink this." I said as I handed him the cup of vodka I was holding, "I need you to pass out, so I can win this stupid bet."

It was a really dumb one.

He looked at me, then at the cup, then back at me before gulping it down.

"You know, I'm the greatest singer of all time. Why don't I have a fanbase? Or an album?" He asked, placing his forehead on the table.

"I don't know, buddy," I replied as I sat opposite of him, "but you do have a fanbase."

"I do?"

"We both do." I replied, "We're that good-looking."

He snorted loudly, loud enough for me to be concerned.

He wiped his nose— which proved my theory to be correct; snot came out of his nose.

"Me? I agree. But you? Nuh-uh." He told me.

"Uh-huh. Just go to sleep."

"No."

"Want a bed?"

"...Yes."

I took him to where I put Kitian, and he immediately pounced on the bed.

"Hi Kitian." He slurred and snuggled closer to him, immediately falling asleep.

"Alright, I've rounded the two of you up, now where's Austin?"

The door suddenly opened, and a half-naked Austin came in.

"Yup, I'm a man." He said before passing out.

"This was a horrible decision." I said, and took a selfie with their unconscious forms.
