Chapter 12: Feelings

Azure's P.O.V.

The end of the term is approaching. This means one thing. The one thing that every student in existence dread. Yes, I'm talking about finals. Exams. Right now, I am studying in the library along with team RWBY and JNPR. Well, Weiss, Ren, Pyrrha, Blake were studying. Ruby, Yang, Jaune, and Nora currently has their face on the table with steam coming out of their heads. Meanwhile, I was reading a novel.

Ruby: "*groans* This is hopeless..."

Weiss: "Come on, Ruby. You have to study if you want to pass."

Ruby: "Then why isn't Azure studying?"

Weiss: "That's because he already memorized everything. Darn his Photographic Memories." She mumbled that last part but I still heard it.

Azure: "Hey, don't hate the players. Hate the game." Yang suddenly snapped her fingers.

Yang: "I got it!"

Azure: "Got what?"

Yang: "You already mastered everything, right?" Ruby, Nora, and Jaune raised their heads when they heard what Yang said.

Azure: "More or less."

Yang: "How about you teach us?"

Azure: "Uh... I don't know about this. I never taught anyone before."

Yang: "Come on, I'll even give you a reward~" I shuddered at the mention of Yang's 'reward'. I don't want to know what she has planned.

Azure: "Um... No, thanks. That makes me want to do it even less."

Yang: "*sighs* Plan B, then. Ruby, do it."

Ruby: "Okay!"

Azure: "What are you going to-" I suddenly realized what she has planned. "No. You can't do that. That's unfair!"

I looked at Ruby and then she did it. She unleashed her ultimate weapon. The one thing stronger than the silver eyes itself. The thing she did every time she was denied her cookies. She unleashed... the dreaded... and damn adorable... Puppy Dog Eyes...

Azure: 'It's fine Azure... I've trained for this... You can do this...'

I looked at her silver eyes. They're big and teary and they're making my will crumble. Her bottom lip is quivering and she pouted. Suddenly, something inside me snapped.

Azure's Determination: 'Mr. Azure, I- I don't feel so good...'

Azure: 'You're gonna be fine.'

Azure's Determination: 'I don't know what's happening... Mr. Azure... I don't- I don't wanna go... Please, Mr. Azure, I don't wanna go... I'm sorry...'

And just like that, my will to resist crumbled, as it turned to dust, and I relented. Curse her Puppy Dog Eyes! They're too cute for their own good.

Azure: "Fine... I'll teach you." Ruby and Yang high-fived while Nora and Jaune cheered.

I tutored Ruby, Yang, Nora, and Jaune to the best of my abilities for the rest of the day. Whether they pass or not only time will tell. Night has fallen and we all returned to our dorms. I was about to go to sleep on my futon until the red cookie reaper interrupted me.
