Chapter 4: The Shining Beacon

On the bullhead to Beacon. Azure's P.O.V.

The three of us are currently standing inside the bullhead. Out of nowhere, Yang caught Ruby in a bear hug.

Yang: "Oh, I still can't believe my baby sister is going to Beacon with me. This is the best day ever!"

Azure: "Wrong volume, Yang. Also, you might want to release Ruby before she runs out of breath.."

Ruby: "Please stop..."

Yang: "But I'm so proud of you!"

Ruby: "Really, sis, it was nothing."

Yang: "What do you mean? It was incredible! Everyone at Beacon is going to think you're the 'bee's knees'!"

Azure: "What? What does that even mean?"

Ruby: "I don't want to be the 'bee's knees', okay? I don't want to be any kind of knees. I just want to be a normal girl with normal knees."

Yang: "What's with you? Aren't you excited?"

Ruby: "Of course I'm excited! I just... I got moved ahead two years. I don't want people to think I'm special or anything."

Azure: "Yeah, I know the feeling. I mean, I'm happy I got here, but I'm really nervous right now. Especially since I never attended any combat school right now. And, Ruby? Not special? You stopped a robbery! I never knew any 15 years old girl who can say the same before!" I patted Ruby's head and ruffled her hair.

Yang: "Yeah, sis. Listen to the man. You are special."

Ruby: "*blushing* Yeah, thanks. Azure." I released my hand from her head.

Azure: "No problemo, Petals."

Ruby: "Petals?"

Azure: "Yeah, your semblance leaves rose petals everywhere. So, Petals. Do you hate it?"

Ruby: "No, it's... kind of nice actually." She gave me an adorable smile. Snow jumped to her shoulder and started licking her. Must. Resist. Pinching. Adorable. Cheeks. Need. Distractions.

I turn my head to the side and saw the news playing in the hologram.

Reporter: "The robbery was led by nefarious criminal Roman Torchwick, who continues to evade authorities..."

Anddd.... I'm tired of listening.

Azure: "Ruby, Yang, I'm gonna go walk around. I'll see you later."

I started walking around the bullhead. After a while, I saw a guy with blonde hair wearing armor over a hoodie. He is currently about to vomit. I concluded that he is currently suffering from motion sickness. 'Jaune Arc'. I pat his back to gain his attention.
