My Twelve Random Dates

Chapter Eleven :

He placed a quick kiss on my lips and I wanted more before  he walked about three steps forward. My eyes were still on him as he left but my breath hitched when rushed back to swoop me into his arms with a smile.

He whispered into my ears " I Love you" before he pulled apart and ran

Inner thoughts:😳😳😳 what was that?!!  A movie scene?

I walked into the house replaying every incident that happened in my head, especially the kiss and the confession David had made

Inner thought:Do we love him? 😶😶

I have no idea, do we?

Inner thoughts; don't ask me, you've been swallowing his spit all night, you should have gotten something from tha🙄🙄

"I'll figure that out myself "

I came into the house and I couldn't sleep, Did David expect me to tell him that I loved him too. I lay there till finally slept by 2am

The next day I got a text from both David and Johnson. David sent me kisses and hugs. Johnson asked me out on another date and I agreed to it. Our first date was ruined by his condition, I had to oblige him.

At about 11 am  in the day, I started preparing for the date and ada came in to help me as always.

"Sister ah ah now, what's that bruise on your neck?  Did something bite you? "

What bruise!"

I turned to face the mirror and then I saw it.

" Jesus Christ!!!  It can't be" I moved closer to check very well

Inner thoughts :😂😂😂😂😂jesus Christ?  Was he the one that surrendered your neck to exhaust pipe?

" How is this even possible?,I thought we africans didn't get things like this"

"Omg!  Sister is that a " She didn't finish the word and started laughing

"Correction, everyone gets a hickey irrespective of their skin color, proof that your partner is a really, really, really good kisser!" Ada excited spelled out to me

Inner thoughts : wait till your date sees that😂😂😂😂looking like a spotted leopard

" How am I supposed to go out on a date with this badge on my neck, Ada do something please, "

I suggest you change your choice of outfit, sister" Ada replied chuckling

"This is so embarrassing, how did David even do this? "I muttered moving to the closet

" Sister don't tell me you have done... "

" Done what! " I snapped, exasperated at my failure to pick an outfit

" Nothing o, just do and go for your date. "

I managed to get a cloth that shielded my bruise and went out.

I met Johnson outside my house and I was surprised when he said we were going to the beach. He was hell bent on making his date perfect. I told him I didn't come with swimming clothes and we got some.

We did so many fun things together, rode the ferris wheel even, I almost threw up on the ride. But Johnson was thrilled by it and amused at my fear of heights.

We visited the zoo, came back to the beach and rode horses. I was laughing the whole time because of silly jokes he told.

When we got back it was already 4pm. I thanked Johnson for the wonderful date.  I was waiting for a hug but got a kiss instead.

Inner thoughts :😳😳😳Whyd you let that happen, he spat into you epilepsy 😭😭😭😭😭we are going to be epileptic

I withdrew almost immediately and he was disappointed. Unfortunately the only lips I wanted on mine was David's. He understood when I told  that I liked someone and opted for a hug  instead.

"I guess my shot came late" he winked before entering his car.

I was about to enter the house when I saw someone that looked like David. I stepped outside to check again but the person was not there." I guess love is making me day dream"

Later at night, I waited for David to call but he didn't. I called him but his phone was switched off. I really wanted to tell him that I loved him too.

Maybe nature didn't want it to be today, I drifted off to sleep with my phone in my hands. I was hoping that he would call
