Day Six
"Sister do you mind telling us who you snuck out to see last night? " Ada questioned with a suspicious look.
Dad, mom, and laura turned their heads simultaneously to face me. It was Independence day and my parents were at home, laura's parents had gone to visit her grandma and she decided to stay with us.
Inner thoughts: of all the times to bring this issue up, it had to be now that they're fighting thanks🙄🙄, so much distraction in this house

"I went to see my friend, his name is David. I did not want to wake anyone and I certainly did not know that my dear baby sister had become the night watch" I replied glaring at Ada who was enjoying her glass of juice with an annoying smile.
Laura was trying so hard to stifle her laughter and I was far from amused
" I remember when I used to sneak around with your mom " Dad started, reminiscing in the memory

Amaka who are you talking to? " mother questioned surprised at my words. Startled, I shook my head vigorously and turned to the television
"I'm just happy that my daughter is making a move towards relationship and all, so tell us is this David handsome? That reminds me amaka you've not told us about your other dates"
Ada and laura started laughing when mom suggested I tell them
"Were they that bad? Why else would these two be laughing like that.
I started my tale, narrated how they all went and from time to my parents would interrupt me with a roaring laughter
I couldn't wait to finish so that I'd leave them to their movie and save myself from further embarrassment.
Finally, we're here and I still have one more date today"I slipped out before my parents could get the opportunity to hound me with questions.
I was going to meet Johnson who had been discharged from the hospital, he decided to making it up to me by having another date with me.
We talked about so many things, his condition mostly. I admired him for having to deal with such issue and still handle it well
Johnson shared so many experiences with me where he had the seizures and was saved by strangers. Some stole from him while others didn't.
" You shouldn't be allowed to stay alone or even drive, what if you get these seizures while driving? "
"I have drugs that help reduce it but sometimes I skip taking them. I feel it's somewhat unfair to depend on drugs "
It's difficult I know, but if you had taken your medication you would have not ruined our date "
"I'm a cool guy you know, don't mind my epileptic side it ruins the show"
