The next day was the first Quidditch game of the season. Gryffindor versus Slytherin. Alexandra decided she'd stay in. It was the perfect opportunity to be alone. Everyone else'd be at the game and she'd have the whole school to herself. She took the time to properly check out the school, sure she wouldn't be interrupted. She hadn't counted on Dumbledore sitting out the match, and accidentally bumped into him somewhere on the fourth floor.

"Miss Weasley." He said, his eyes shining like they always did.

"Oh, hello, headmaster." She said. "Sorry, I didn't think there'd be anyone around."

"No need to apologise, Miss Weasley. I was thinking the exact same thing. I take it Quidditch isn't your sport."

"No, not really." She shrugged. "I thought the headmaster had to be at all games, or at least the first game of the season."

"I find the presence of the headmaster can sometimes be quite daunting. Professor McGonagall will fill me in later."

"Right."

"I hope you're enjoying your lessons with professor Snape?"

"Yes. Very much so, headmaster. He's a good teacher." She replied. "Thank you."

"Well then, I'll let you go off and do whatever it is you're planning. I trust my school will still be standing by the end of the game?"

"Most definitely. You needn't worry much about the school, just two very annoying students." She skipped away. Dumbledore looked at her and laughed.

She was walking the seventh floor corridor. She stopped and decided she didn't want to go much further and walked back the way she came when the tapestry of Barnabas the Barmy trying to teach the trolls ballet caught her eye. She laughed, it was a funny tapestry and decided to walk back to her dorm again. The twins needed to be taught a lesson, and she couldn't start planning from the corridor. A door materialised behind her. She stopped and looked around, wondering if it was a trap made by Quildemort. Somehow she doubted it so she went inside. The room had pranking supplies, ideas to make her brothers suffer. She closed the door behind her and sat on the sofa in the middle of the room with a devious grin.

It was hours before she finally emerged, looking pleased with herself. Picking up a bag that had been on the sofa, handily, she put her inventions inside. It had an extension charm. Everything was so easy in this room, as though it were catering to her needs. She walked out of the room and to her own dorm.

"Oh, you missed it! I can't believe you missed it!" Charlotte squealed as she walked in.

"I told you I wasn't going to go." She shrugged.

"It was really cool!" Leanne Smith, one of Charlotte's roommates said.

"Yeah, and everyone was on the edge of their seats, especially when Harry Potter started losing control."

"He what?" Alexandra asked.

"Yeah, he lost control of his broom, but he was fine after a while."

"Oh." Alexandra shrugged before heading to her room. Susan, Megan and Hannah were inside.

"Where'd you go today?" Hannah asked.

"Around." She shrugged.

"Have fun?" Susan tried.

"Yeah."

"Do anything interesting?" Megan chimed in.

"Not really."

"So something happened today in the match. Harry-"

"Lost control of his broom." She cut off. "I heard."

"It looked more like a hex to me." Hannah said.

"Okay." She said, before putting the bag under her bed, trying to seem unaffected.

"So, we're thinking of staying up all night. Want to join?" Megan asked.

"No thanks. Have fun." She shrugged. "I gotta go." She walked out of the room to find Quirrell. He was in the DADA classroom. "Fine. You've got my attention." She said, standing at the doorway.

"I thought you'd come as soon as the match finished."

"I wasn't there."

"Ahh."

"What do you want, Quildemort?"

"You've certainly grown quite a tongue."

"Or maybe you just didn't know me, before. I mean, you couldn't possibly if you thought I'd join you in being a lost puppy for him."

"Speaking of, how goes your... little puppy problem."

"I'm fine. So leave Harry Potter alone or I will go to Dumbledore and tell him all about the last year."

"No you won't. If you were going to, you would have already. There's a reason you haven't told anyone. Because you know they're going to hate you."

"You're right. I don't want to tell, but I'm willing to if I have to."

"How is a young child like you already so fiercely loyal?"

"Leave Harry alone, and leave me alone. I won't let you hurt him."

Meanwhile, in the girls dormitory, Hannah, Susan and Megan sat in a small circle.

"Okay, now what do we do?" Susan asked.

"Well, now that she doesn't come to DADA any more, it'll be a lot harder to talk to her."

"I'm glad she doesn't have to see Quirrell anymore, but at least she was chatty in his classes."

"Wish she'd talk to us, or someone."

"She's pretty close to Hermione Granger."

"Yeah, I think they're best friends."

"Or as close to best friends as Alex can get."

"I think we should just continue to be there. She's improved since the beginning of the year. She no longer pretends to go to sleep early to stay away from us." Megan said.

"No, she just reads her books and refuses to hang out with us." Susan rolled her eyes.

"Progress. We'll still be here for her." Megan said and the girls nodded.

"Yeah, we will."
