As it turned out, Mystique had gotten a hold of the psychological examinations that all of them had taken at some point in the last week. Apparently those were for this activity too. She ran a finger along the top of the stack of papers, giving them all a dangerous, saccharine smile.
"Any volunteers to go first?" She asked coyly. "Or will I be picking a student at random?" Expectedly, Kaminari, Mina, and Kirishima all volunteered, cheering for Mystique to pick one of them. Mineta also raised his hand, but he was salivating and staring at Mystique's chest, so it was likely that he didn't actually know what he was doing. Hagakure volunteered, jumping up and down, and a moment later Iida volunteered, Uraraka's hand shooting up only seconds later. Mystique looked thrilled at the amount of participation, her gaze scanning the students. Finally, she pointed at one of them.
"You!" She exclaimed, pointing a gloved finger at Kaminari. He gave a loud "yes!!!" of excitement, pumping a fist in the air. Mina poked at him, whining that he always got to do everything fun, while Mineta pouted.
"Why does he always get all the hot chicks to pay attention to him?" The grape boy complained. Everyone ignored him.
Mystique shifted through the papers, pulling out Kaminari's and placing it next to her as she walked to her station. Blueprint flipped a handful of switches, adjusting a dial carefully as Magma prepared to fire up the machine. Mystique flung her gloves off, placing her palms on the panel. Iida had ushered everyone into the center of the room as Mystique had ordered before. Making sure that everyone was in position, Mystique nodded to Blueprint before calling out to the students.
"Remember, your goal is to escape the illusion! Blueprint's tracking everything that goes on in there, and you'll get graded based on your performances throughout the week!" Her palms began to emit mist, and she grinned brightly. "See you all soon!" And with that, a huge bubble encased them all and whisked them away.

Two words came to mind for most of Kaminari's classmates: instant regret. They appeared to be standing at the end of a hallway that stretched out before them for what could be miles. Hanging on the neon, animal print walls was the dankest collection of memes that any of them had ever beheld, strobe lights placed every ten feet or so. There was a directory that all the students were quick to gather around, although for differing reasons.
"We are in the hall of Kami's favorite memes," Mina announced to everyone, pointing to the red star labeled 'you are here'. "Some of the other exhibits here include the RIP Vine theater, the grand room of dead memes, and the ballroom featuring music such as All Star, the Wii menu music, and other such memed songs."
"If there is a god, will he please fucking strike me dead?!" Bakugou growled, gripping at his hair angrily. "This is officially the worst fucking training exercise that we've ever done, and if I don't find the exit in the next thirty seconds, I'm gonna fucking disembowel Pikachu and shove his guts down his throat." Rather than backing away from the explosive blonde, Kaminari was too busy taking in the glorious sight before him, silent tears of joy streaming down his face. He hugged Sero tightly, sobbing dramatically. Mina and Kirishima were quick to join in the group hug, while Bakugou rubbed at the bridge of his nose and snapped about having dumbasses for friends. Uraraka studied the directory again, pointing to one exhibit.
"Look! There's a room of Best Moments from every group chat that Kaminari has ever been in! That includes the mythical Bakusquad group chat! I have to go see that for myself!" Craning her head to look over her shoulder, Uraraka smiled at her classmates. "Girls, anyone wanna come?" Tsuyu and Hagakure were quick to agree, and the three sprinted off down the hall.
"Uraraka, Tsuyu, Hagakure, get back here immediately!" Iida ordered, making arm chopping motions at them over the heads of the others. "We all need to exit the simulation to succeed in the exercise! We all need to stick together!" Yaoyorozu, glancing once more at the map, addressed Iida's concern.
"I'll go after them. I made a couple of copies of the directory, and we should all meet up at the statue hall of famous memers in the center of this place," she said determinedly, handing a few papers to Iida. "Arrive there as soon as possible." She turned, prepared to run after the group of three, when she stopped in surprise. Jirou had grabbed her wrist, and the shorter girl gave her a weary smile.
"I'm coming with you," she said. "I know Kaminari's mind pretty well, not to mention I think you might drop dead if you have to venture into the ever-changing void of meme culture by yourself." Yaoyorozu blushed a pale pink, blinking a couple of times in surprise.
"Jirou..." she said, breaking into a grateful smile. "That's so sweet of you, I–" The two had drawn closer together, Jirou smiling back at Yaoyorozu. The taller girl's words were cut off suddenly when Iida gave Jirou a heavy pat on the back, agreeing that they should not wander off by themselves if possible. His words were lost, however, due to the fact that he caused Jirou to stumble forward. Jirou knew that if she didn't right herself, her face was going to land right on Yaoyorozu's breasts. And for all of her confident and subtle flirting with the other girl, Jirou knew that she wasn't at all ready for that kind of gay panic. She flailed, grasping at thin air, and wrapping her arms around the first thing she touched. Steadying herself, she looked up only to find that she had flung her arms around Yaoyorozu's waist, and the other girl looked down at her with a very, very pink face. Jirou gasped in surprise and let go, finally falling onto her ass. She got to her feet as quickly as possible, brushing herself off.
"Let's just go," she muttered, taking off down the hallway, a still blushing Yaoyorozu running behind her. Iida turned to address the rest of his classmates. The buddy system was probably best for this situation, that way they would be sure to stick together and they could avoid anyone else wandering off—
"WHAT?!" Iida shrieked, finding that almost everyone had already walked away while he was distracted. The only people left were Midoriya, Todoroki, and Tokoyami. Tokoyami was trying to control Dark Shadow, who was complaining about the strobe lights, while Midoriya was doing his best to unravel the confusion in Todoroki's mind.
"No, I don't get it," the icy-hot boy said, cutting off Midoriya in the middle of explaining how the Internet caused all of this to be possible. "What is a me-me?" Midoriya looked torn between laughing and crying, and Iida decided to step in.
"You three!" They all turned to look at him. "We need to go corral the rest of our classmates, then meet up with Yaoyorozu and her group in the statue hall! We need to hurry if we want this exercise to be over in a reasonable time!"
"Yes, let's go," Midoriya agreed quickly, looking as if anything would be better than trying to explain any of this to Todoroki. Iida gave all of them a copy of the map Yaoyorozu had made, ordering Todoroki and Tokoyami to split off at the nearest exhibit and search the west wing. The four boys took off, Iida in the lead.
None of them noticed the quiet rumbling that had begun outside, or glanced out the window to look at the storm clouds that had begun to hang heavily in the sky.
