A Heart Of Hate
An evil heart
Behind that guise
A crooked mind
Behind that smile
A white lie
Hidden in words
A cynical plight
Hidden in stone
A heart of hate
A blinded sight
A twisted mind
Time for your demise
Why didn't you change?
Why didn't you learn to love?
Why didn't you see the beauty?
Of the world around and sky above?
Why did you leave with a heart full of hate?
Why didn't you try?
To live a life worth the change?
And now that you're asleep
Do you regret not being awake?
Do you wish you'd left the dark shadows?
And stepped out into the suns warm rays?

Life is precious, life is short. Make a change while you still have the chance. Don't let it slip away. Love everyone and everything regardlessly, because it's not worth it, living a life filled with hate when love is right there staring at you in the face.
Be that friend, be that person who makes others smile just by smiling themselves. Spread the joy, spread the love to those who know nothing of it.
Why?
Because you can.
