"It has only been a week and this is what you get into? Never in my whole career have I ever sent someone to Master Dagmire so soon! You've probably broken a Carvolier record! And that is not something to be proud of, Mr. Elvar!"

This had been going on for a while now, ever since Sir Luxivo collected Nagan from the restraints of another teacher to drag him to Master Dagmire. And to scold his ear off in the meantime, too, apparently. Nagan didn't bother telling Sir Luxivo none of this will get through to him since there's nothing in the world that could make him regret attacking Carthadeus at the moment in fear of presenting more ranting material.

Due to his morning wanderings -- waking up at sunrise had become a habit, thanks to the window -- he vaguely knew where he was going. Master Dagmire's office was located on one of the higher floors and at the end of a long hallway, he recalled. Nagan would've been lying if he said he wasn't nervous walking down said hallway. No, he'll never regret punching Carthadeus in his pompous face, but that doesn't mean he won't regret the consequences.

Sir Luxivo knocked twice before opening the dark walnut door and ushering Nagan in.

The room that greeted him was...not what he expected. It was many times larger than the average teacher's office with the two walls at the sides lined with bookshelves, though they weren't nearly as packed as the library. Instead, they held a moderate amount of books looking to have been haphazardly shoved into the shelves along with a few trinkets and artifacts. At least some of the more valuable looking artifacts were kept safely in glass cases on a few shelves. A variety of different sorts of equipment were scattered around near the walls. The floor wasn't the usual plain stone as it was in the rest of the castle, but rather had a circle etched into it in front of a large desk, which was equally as cluttered as the shelves. Not even the two chairs in front of the desk were spared from papers.

In summary, this room was a mess. But in a way, it also brought an odd sense of deja vu to Nagan.

Though it was true that the messy room was distracting, the first thing that caught Nagan's attention was the wall behind the desk. That is if you could even call it a wall since it was made completely out of glass, with a glass door leading out onto a huge balcony. So this is the glass room I saw from outside on the first day.

A flutter of movement caught Nagan's eye, and he turned to investigate. There up on a ladder leafing through a few books was Master Dagmire, grumbling to himself over something. With a frustrated huff, Master Dagmire snapped the book shut and shoved it back into the shelf before picking another book to flip through. Without looking up, he addressed the pair who had entered his office, "Sir Luxivo, what brings you here?"

"If you wish to find what you're looking for quickly, I recommend spending some time organizing your office every once in a while, Rorric," Sir Luxivo commented dully.

A dry laugh left Master Dagmire as he reached for another book. "If only I had time. Between running Carvolier and dealing with the Council of Thirds, I barely have time to sleep. Anyways, what are you really here for?"

Sir Luxivo motioned to Nagan halfheartedly, Master Dagmire wasn't looking in their direction anyway, before explaining, "I brought you some help. There was a fight and I believe he will be useful in organizing your office for you as punishment."

"Really? So soon into the year?" Master Dagmire sounded amused by that, "And who is this student?"

Nagan was surprised when he saw Sir Luxivo's lips curl into a smirk. "Nagania Elvar."

Master Dagmire sputtered and nearly fell off the ladder after hearing his name. After regaining his balance, he looked at Nagan in near shock. Sir Luxivo snorted at this. "Didn't you know he was here? I thought you would pay more attention to these things since you and Nageth were inseparable. Though trouble making seems to be hereditary. Imagine if you had a son the same age, then you'd be getting a taste of your own medicine."

Master Dagmire shot a weak glare at Sir Luxivo before composing himself and climbing down the latter with a book tucked under his arm, finally finding what he was looking for. "Back to the original topic. You said he got into a fight?"

"Yes."

"With who?"

"It was Carthadeus Honoria. Right now he is being treated for a bruised jaw and a broken wrist," Nagan inwardly smirked in satisfaction at that, "but several witnesses stated that Honoria is equally as guilty to starting the fight."

Master Dagmire nodded. "I can take it from here. Thank you for bringing him to me."

Sir Luxivo bowed briefly before leaving the office and shutting the door behind him, leaving Nagan and Master Dagmire alone.

It was silent for a moment before Master Dagmire cleared his throat and removed the papers from one of the chairs. Setting those papers onto an empty space on the desk, he walked behind it, sat down, and motioned towards the now cleared seat. "Sit down and tell me your side of the story."

Not knowing what to say, or if he should say anything at all, Nagan walked over to the chair, his footsteps sounding unbearably loud to him. That was when he realized that the room was silent. No humming to be heard. Sparing a glance at the ceiling, he saw a rich red light floating above with his own grey orb orbiting around it. He had almost forgotten how powerful Master Dagmire really was. Nagan sat down like he was told to, but remained alert and on edge. If Master Dagmire noticed, he didn't say anything about it.

"So is it true that you sent a fellow student into the medical wing?"

Finding himself unable to lie, Nagan nodded slowly, carefully watching Master Dagmire's expressions, and answered, "Yes, sir."

Master Dagmire sighed and leaned forward with his elbows on the desk and his hands clasped in front of him. If it weren't for his disappointed expression rather than anger, Nagan would've ran. "Unfortunately, you will be punished for injuring a student regardless, but I'm sure you have a perfectly justifiable reason for doing so, right?"
