jon takes me on a date

jon takes me to a coffee shop on tuesday. coffee shops are where people go on dates, but i think he does not know that

i will tell him so he knows better when he gets out of the bathroom, but for now, i will eat my bagel he bought me because it is yummy

jon comes out of the bathroom after a couple of minutes and sits across from me. i don't think he knows that's what people on dates do

"how is your coffee?" jon asks

"it tastes like beans"

jon gives a confused look before shrugging and reading his newspaper

i smash my fist onto the table and look into jons eyes

"this is what people on dates do jon"
