"Hey kiddo, how was your day?" My dad asked as he pulled up. I jumped into the passenger seat and secured my seat belt, sitting my bag in between my legs before sighing deeply.

"Fun and sad. When I told them today was my last day, they were upset but it hit Lana the most."

"I'm sorry, she really sounds like a special kid," My dad smiled and pulled away from the curve. I turned my head and watched as the orphanage became smaller and more distant.

"All of them are special, even Clare," I chuckled and smiled, thinking back to the smiles I put on all of their faces today.

"Did you do anything special since it was your last day?" He asked, turning a corner and onto the busy streets. I nodded my head.

"Yeah, Liam and I ordered a bunch of snacks and boxes of pizza. We sat in front of the tv in Sadie's office because it was the only one that fully worked and watched Disney movies. Dad, it was amazing," I smiled big at the memory.

"You know you're a good person. Well, when you want to be," He teased and I chuckled.

I mean, it's the truth.

Today I would say has been the best so far. After our day, Liam and I helped Sadie put the kids to bed, but it took about an hour to get Lana, Jack, and Cameron to bed. After successfully getting them to sleep, Liam and I helped Sadie clean up one last time. Liam left 20 minutes after, Then I sat down talking to Sadie before my dad came to pick me up.

"Oh, can you drop me off at Dylan's house? She and her family just got back from Jamaica. I'll just ask her to drop me off home later."

"Sure," He said, switching routes.

"Bye dad, see you when I get home," I kissed his cheek quickly before almost tripping out of the car.

"Don't break anything. I do not want to go through that again," He shivered and I glared playfully.

My dad drove away and I took a deep breath before smiling widely. I turned around and faced their huge house. Well, it's always looked bigger because my house is smaller but I love my house.

I walked up the concrete pathway and noticed their car in the driveway. The trunk is still open indicating that they are still bringing in stuff from their vacation. The see through screen door is wide open.

Before I could enter the house, Mr. Johnson came out almost knocking me over.

"Oh, hey Blair. How was your summer?" He smiled down at me, pulling me into a bear hug. I returned the hug before pulling away to breathe in air.

"Um, not what I had in mind, but good."

"Dylan is upstairs unpacking you can go right up," He told me and walked away. As I stepped inside the house it felt like it's been a while since I've been in here. Even though it's only been 92 days, but still.

I mean, come on, 92 days is a long time!

After saying hello to Mrs. Johnson, I made my way upstairs and down the hall where Dylan is at. I tiptoed into her room and raised my eyebrows when I saw her dancing around with her ear pods in while unpacking.
