"Alright," the villain stepped into the light of the small lantern in the windowless cell, "it's time"

The little girl huddled closer to the teenager, seeking not only the warmth from his right side but the small amount of safety that he provided.

"Leave her alone," the teenager croaked, his voice raspy from lack of use and water. "Can't you see that you've practically drained her dry?" The little girl buried herself closer into his side as if in response.

The villain cocked his head in confusion. "Does it look like I care?" He snapped his fingers. "Prepare the chair." One of the villain's goons, the one with the dark scars, reluctantly turned from the barred cell. His footsteps could be heard as they clacked all the way down the corridor.

"Please," the teenager-hero tried again, "she's too weak for you to harvest anymore. She'll die."

"She'll make it," the villain growled and snatched the girl away from the hero, hoisting her into their air as if she weighed nothing. And to the villain, Deku, she didn't weigh anything. But it was what she was worth which weighed everything.
