I got out of the hover-craft and was instantly blinded by the sunlight. The windows in the hover-craft block out sunlight, and give the terrain below the perfect look, it’s top-of-the-line technology, according to the Pilot, who was very proud of his hover-craft. Once my eyes have adjusted to the sunlight, I look around. We are in a clearing, there are dense woods all around. They kind of look like the ones earlier, but they weren’t as colorful. I turned around and there was a castle. Well, it was rather a large house than a castle. But, I know it belonged to an Elemental, because the guard told me. It was the King of the North’s, Ailín’s, vacation home. It was right on the border of the North and East Nations, hence the large trees to the southeast and the mountains to the northwest, again, the guard.

“Well,” said Noah, “We should be going.” I look over at him and he immediately looks away. I feel sorry for him. He’s used to someone to love, and someone who loves him back with the same passion, and it’s sad to have to watch him have to go through losing that. I don’t know what to do. I want to hug him, but I feel that would make it worse. I continue to look at him, to study his features. He has a very outlined jaw, a little facial hair, light blond, not silver, like the rest of his hair. His eyes are what really stand out. He has icy blue eyes, with a tint of silver. Around the pupil is circle of pure white, and just at the edge of the color part of his eye it goes from a light ice blue to a deep navy in a very dramatic gradient. He has a short, small nose, and small lips, that are naturally bright red, and he is rather skinny.

We started walking up the long path towards the house. It was an old looking path, made out of a cobble material, not like the buildings we had back in my city. Well, what I saw of it when we were flying away from my castle. I didn’t even need to see the other nations to know that mine is the most modernized. The castle is white, with a little red here and there, and the city is broad and just, modern. Here the building style is different. More victorian and just old. It looked really pretty, just not something I would want to live in.

We get to the door, faded brown oak double door, and knock. The door swings open almost after a second. Standing in the doorway is a woman, who looks like she is about 30, has short curly pink-white hair, and is wearing a long pale pink dress, that almost matches the color of her hair. She sees us and looks relieved.

“Oh Thank God,” she says, “Forrest! They’re here! Please come in.” I look to the guard who nods and we walk into the house.

“Kaida, dear, it’s so lovely to see you safe.” She embraces me in a hug. “You never know with the Rebels this days.” I step away from her.

“Um, who are you again?”
