Hogwarts, The letter

AN: I decided that this book will be about Percy's 3 years at Hogwarts before Harry comes, there will be reference to Harry Potter but he will not physically be there. However some of the older Characters will be.

The last thing that Sally Black ever saw was a ginger lock of her and a pair of emerald green eyes.

Percy POV

Today was a special day, August 18 my 11 birthday and the day that I get my Hogwarts letter. My entire family, or what's left of it, is sitting round a table in Malfoy Manor. My Aunt Narcissa, she was a beautiful lady with straight platinum blonde hair. She was 2 inches taller than me at 5'6 to my 5'4, with a kind smile that always brightened up my day. With a big box of Berty bots every flavoured bean in one hand and a rectangular parcel in the other. Sitting next to her was my Uncle Malfoy, her husband, he was nice enough to me but I often found he let his emotions get the best of him. But don't let that fall you, I swear he could stare into your soul with those cold calculating grey eyes that seemed to analyse you. He may rush into things like a Gryff ( Percy was raised by Pure Bloods) but he truly has the heart of a snake. Sitting next to me was my little 8 year old cousin Draco, or as I like to calling Mr Daddies Boy, anytime I say anything to him that he dislikes its 'wait till my father hears about this'. Don't get me wrong I love him like a little brother but sometimes I wish that he would get his fucking broom stick out of his royal pureblood arse and learn to fight his own battles.

Anyway, getting distracted, I was sitting at the table opening my presents, only getting sweets and a Greek mythology book, wishing I was surrounded by other people rather than the Malfoys. Don't get me wrong I am forever in their debt for taken me in, but they won't let me leave to go anywhere and frankly it was only Uncle Snape, Draco's godfather, promising he would look out for me allowed me to go to Hogwarts. On top of that half of my family where in Azkaban, dead or disowned from the family, yet in my opinion family is family, you can't chose them which makes them different from friends. After all a lone snake wouldn't survive on its own. So of I ever meet Sirius Black, I'll welcome him with open arms, unless he tries to kill me, then I run.

I was opening the last of my presents when an owl flew through the window dropping 2 parcels and 3 letters , one that I recognised as the Hogwarts, the other from a man called M.W until my aunt took that away putting it on the counter saying I was not ready for that particular letter, the next from a man called Mr P. One of the parcels was from a woman named Andromeda and when saying the name I noticed that my aunt scowled yet when commenting on it she immediately returned to a care free smile. Opening it at a pace faster than I eat blue cookies (fast) I reached into the parcel and grabbed onto a pouch, only when it was on the table that I realised that it was a bag. "What the bloody 'ell is a bag gonna do?" I asked only to be answered with a smack on the back of my head. Finally after an uncomfortable silence- you should see these guys at parties- my Uncle sighed "Put your hand in the bag Percy" my uncle told me. And when I did a smile creeped onto my face as my hand disappeared, all the things I could sneak into Hogwarts with this

HOGWARTS, I almost forgot. By passing all of the rest of my presents, although lingering on a letter with the initials M.W. on the corner of the corner of one, I reached to the letter with the fancy font.

Dear Mr Perseus Orion Black, 

We are pleased to inform you that you have been accepted at. Please find an enclosed list of all necessary books and equipment. Term begins on 1st of September. We await your owl by no later than 31st of August

With a smile on my face I stuck my tongue out at my little cousin who was clearly annoyed about not going to Hogwarts yet and waiting his turn, I turned to my carers and read in a posh voice 

UNIFORM First-year students will require: 

1. Three sets of plain work (black) robes
2. One plain pointed hat (black) for day wear
3. One pair of protective gloves ( hide or similar)
4. One winter cloak (black, with silver fastenings)

Please note that all pupil's clothes should carry name tags.

"Do you think that they would let me off with the robe because I imagine that wearing a suit would be better or maybe a tracky" saying the last bit did get under the Malfoys family skin and got the desired results as a "Fucking twat" was heard mumbled from my Uncles mouth.

"Anywayyy" I continued

Students may also bring, if they desire, an Owl OR a cat OR a toad .

PARENTS ARE REMINDED THAT FIRST YEARS

ARE NOT ALLOWED THEIR OWN BROOMSTICK, UNLESS ON THE QUIDDITCH TEAM

Chief attendant witchcraft provisions

After reading all of that I sighed, and the first thought that came to mind was

" Am I going to  learn Witch or Wizard craft" and with that though I was whisked of to Diagon Ally.

AN: I am going to try to update everyday but I have exams coming up so it my be more like 2 or 3 times a week. Not that anybody is actually go to read this but fuck em, I got nothing better to do.
