Chapter 44

"I told you not to move around so much! Bakit ba hindi ka nakikinig sa akin ha?!"

I mentally cursed. Pinigilan ko ang sarili ko na masaktan si Clove at naiinis na nagwalk out nalang. Nang makalabas ako sa kwarto namin ay dire-diretso lang akong bumaba ng hagdan na nagpupuyos parin sa inis.

Damn that Clove Velasquez. I told him not to move around too much.

It's been two weeks. Two weeks since that incident happened. Sa totoo lang, hindi ko na alam kung ano bang mga nangyari netong mga nakaraang araw. Time flew so fast that I didn't even realize that two weeks have already passed.

Clove's doctor allowed him to be discharged last week. Hindi pa dapat siya papayagang umuwi pero dahil makulit siya ay walang nagawa ang doktor niya kung hindi ang pumayag. Good thing Doctor Martin is a friend of his and he's been the one keeping Clove in check for the past week. He's alright now, I know he is. Sadyang hindi ko lang alam kung bakit ayaw ko siyang maggagagalaw. Naiirita ako kapag ginagawa niya 'yon at gusto ko siyang saktan sa inis.

I shook my head and sighed. Must be hormones kicking in. I'm pregnant anyway.

"It's still early to be annoyed, don't you think?" I heard Nivana's voice behind me.

Nilingon ko siya at tinaasan ng kilay. Bumaba ang tingin ko sa baso na hawak niya bago ibinalik ang tingin sa kanya.

"Wala ba kayong bahay at mukhang dito niyo na balak tumira ha?" Kinunotan ko siya ng nuo.

Nivana laughed. "God, Nara. Why are you so funny today?"

"Shut up." I said, annoyed.

"Hormones?" Tumawa siya ulit. "By the way, we have a house no. Sadyang, ayaw lang umalis nila Vana dito dahil gusto nilang palaging kasama si Clove. I can't say no to them."

"What a good mother you are." I sarcastically said.

She smirked. "Trust me. You'll know how it feels when they look at you with cute and puppy eyes."

Napailing ako. "Whatever." I said before turning my back on her. Iniwan ko na siya don pero dahil makulit siya ay sinundan niya ako hanggang sa may salas.

"What did Clove do this time?" She asked as she took a sit beside me.

"He didn't do anything actually. I just got annoyed at him when he moved around so I walked out before I can hurt him."

"That's funny." She chuckled. "I am always like that to Clevin whenever I am pregnant. Looks like we are on the same boat after all."

"I'm annoyed." I puffed a breathe. "Nakakainis. I've been like this for a week now."

"It's just your hormones kicking in. That's nothing. I'm sure Clove had been already warned by his brother anyway."

"Warned?"

"I told you we are on the same boat." She smirked at me. "I always hurt my husband whenever I'm pregnant. He's used to it so I won't be surprised if he already warned Clove beforehand."

I tsked. "Brothers."

"Indeed." Nivana chuckled and I followed after.

"Good morning Mommy! Good morning Tita Nara!"
