INT. RESTAURANT – MOMENTS LATER

JIM, JACK and MATHEW sitting together with GRANDPA'S erne on the table.

​WAITRESS

​Here's your check.

​MATHEW

​Thanks.

WAITRESS walks away. JIM looks at MATHEW.

​JIM

Why in the hell did you bring Grandpa'sashes in here?

​JACK

It just didn't seem right leaving him in the car.

​MATHEW

Today was the day he was moving to Cabo.

​JACK

Life's not fair.

​JIM

Life sucks.

​MATHEW

Tell me about it. I caught Dixiescrewing another guy last week.

​JIM

​You're kidding?

​MATHEW

I wish I was. The night we went out I came home and there they were in my own bed.

​MATHEW

Some asshole kid that works underneath Dixie.

​JACK

​I guess he does.

JACK chuckles. The WAITRESS walks up to the table.

​WAITRESS

​Is the check ready?

MATHEW looks up at the WAITRESS.

​MATHEW

​Not yet. Could I get some more coffee?

The WAITRESS signs and gives MATHEW a dirty look before she walks away annoyed. Mathew turns to JACK.

​MATHEW

Damn, you would think I was asking for a blowjob.

​JACK

Did Dixie's friend get paid time and a half for the overtime.

​JIM

Poor kid was just trying to get a leg up.

JIM and JACK laugh.

​MATHEW

​JIM

​JACK

​So are you going to leave her?

​MATHEW

I don't know. She said it was a onetime thing and she wants to work it out.

JACK

​MATHEW

I just want to walk the fuck away.

The WAITRESS walks over to their table and fills MATHEW'S coffee cup half full, then walks away. MATHEW picks up his coffee cup and takes a sip and notices he has been shorted a full cup. He makes an annoyed face then puts it down.
